'What's going on?!'
That was the first thought in Isabelle's mind when she heard Kuro. Right away, the staff members went into action. Isabelle didn't even need to ask Peach, as the young woman had gotten on the phone to call the police seconds after the roar, while Isabelle started to rush towards the front gate. Sure, she had only been the headmistress for two years, so it was her first time dealing with this from the position. However, she heard Ozpin's past tales of similar events happening. Even with the school and town being open-minded, there were always someone or something closed-minded. A reason they had Kuro as the school guardian.
Ragna growled, cursing to himself as he rushed out of his room with his old trusty sword in hand. Screw the fact he only had his PJ pants on, the school was under attack! There was no time to get fully dress! He needed to move, now!
Some teachers past him to go make sure students were fast while others were following in his past. Others went to make sure no one else was trying to break into spots at Kuro's roar wasn't heard that. In a sad way, it reminded Ragna of his old work whenever their hideouts or bases were under attack. He shook his head at the thought, ('Damn it, now isn't the time!'), as he rushed to the front yard. From the corner of his eyes, he could see Mulan following close behind.
"Does anyone know what happened yet?" The younger woman asked in fear.
"One way to find out." Ragna grunted.
The two kept running.
'Yep...someone's dead.'
Gohin was lucky he wasn't asleep. Tadashi had already rushed off with some teachers to make sure no students were hurt, so Gohin went to the front yard with others. In all his years, Gohin knew many times. One of them being you don't piss off Kuro or you may end up in a body bag. Granted, he knew he had to keep the attacker alive until the police arrived. He swore to keep people healthy, even if they were complete trash. Hopefully, Ramos was on his way as well. The old man knew how to calm Kuro down from sudden events like this.

Frank was back in his bedroom when the sudden yowl of Kuro alerted him. He get off from the bed and walked through the hallways.
What happened to that cat?
He might curses while put on his leggings on, yet not the rest of his clothes on. Frank might cross with Sheila who was running towards the hallways. "Hey, you! Been a Janitor doesn't give you the authority to run in the hallways"
"Sorry, but Carrot gave me the instruction to be away. Seems there are attackers at the front gate" she spoke while kept the running.
"Oh! Not damn again!" he might shut the door once more before pick a bat he has inside his room. He crosses paths with Yuu and Rivet. "You know the drill"
"Who might this stupid to attack us?" Rivet yawns heavy while accompany Frank behind.
"Whosoever it is, it must be or too valiant or too eager to die" Yuu says
"Or too stupid" Frank rectifies.
"Kronk, get away from here. Doof take him with you" Rose was preparing some of her potions, she cannot be sure if the ones attacking are well-armed or just a bunch of idiots but better be prepared for wounded ones. As pick her wand.
"Are you sure you don't need our help?" Doof asked while patting Kronk over the head, as the adult-child is scared for the sudden yowl.
"Better keep you safe. It would be very risky if you get harmed" Rose said at the two. "I going to get back." she made a pause as going off the classroom she was "N.Brio" she advised to the scientist who followed her with a small potion alongside him. No words were given as the advise was clear and transparent.
"One!!"
Swords advised to the rest of the group who rushed behind him. As had no trouble to jump the fence and land at the other side -they will wish the contrary soon-
"Evil Red Dragon! Your crimes against Yggdrasil ends here. You can not hide forever against the justice. For the many and countless bases destroyed in the past of your kin, and many hundred who were defeated, we are here to eliminate the evil" Swords, as no one asked for, monologue in pride and believing he has the triumph card in his hands. Been supported by Thief, Cleric and Archer behind.
"How many level 50 monsters you can count?" Cleric asked Thief who checked the area ahead. "And where is the demon I must cleanse from this place?"
"They are plenty of them. I cannot count them" Thief shivers as they might chew more they can swallow. But as a thief, the eager to know what lies inside overpass her common sense. -if she has one-.
Archer didn't say a word as he pointed with his bow to anything that might appear.
"So, better give us the dragon that had brainwash you. And we shall take our lead" Sword finished feeling odd by strange yet angered sights all over the four.
Of course, when the heroes, -more saying, Swords- advised their appearance Letty awakes on sudden knowing he was found and used the jacket to cover himself. Little have to see Akemi and John, the small dragon was terrible afraid.

When Akemi heard the undeniable sound of Kuro's howl, both she and John froze where they stood, staring at each other before jumping into action. John changed his arm, the gears shifting as it formed a rifle as Akemi quickly dashed over to a locked set of drawers, entering the combination on the lock and snapping it open to reveal a series of her sharpest, most dangerous knives.
Grabbing a butcher's knife, Akemi frowned as she went towards the cabinet Letty was in, kneeling down to check on him. She felt her heart clench in distress upon seeing the dragon awake and cowering, hiding underneath Kotori's jacket in an attempt for safety. The poor thing was obviously terrified of what was happening, and had no clue whatsoever how justified his terror was.
Getting up, the woman looked towards the cyborg with a serious expression, and he nodded in response, not even needing her to say a word to understand. "Go on, I'll keep me eye on the lad. And anyone tries a thing..." He lifted his rifle arm in a silent threat to any intruders.
Nodding in gratitude, Akemi ran out of the cafeteria and headed towards the courtyard, the origin of Kuro's howl. Along the way, she ran into Ramos, the elderly gardener clearly dressed in night clothes.
He had just been settling down for bed when he heard Kuro, and Ramos couldn't understate the sheer fear he felt at hearing that sound. It'd been so long since he had heard it, and the feline demon never raised the alarm falsely. There were intruders in the school grounds, and they meant real harm. He had dashed past Mirajane and Yu as the women had headed for the dorms, clearly concerned for all the students, but most particularly, their family.
"Ramos! Do you have any idea why Kuro raised the alarm?!" Akemi questioned, feeling her stomach drop when the man shook his head, concern obvious on his face.
"Not a clue, it's been years since he alerted everyone like this!" He responded, the two rushing towards the courtyard.
Kuro had never felt his fur stand so much on edge at seeing this intruders so blatantly demand for them to hand over a student for them to harm while more then ready to attack an unharmed woman who given them a warning! If he could just get Kotori to loosen her grip...these fools wouldn't live to see the dawn.
Among Kuro's furious howls and snarls as he struggled to get free from her arms to attack the four in front of them, Kotori felt a distant shock at the sudden aggressive appearance of the intruding group, and didn't even register the swordman's deluded monologue. She only focused on the arrow aimed directly in her direction.
But then she felt red-hot fury rush through her body at the sudden realization that these damned monsters had chased a poor, terrified child all this way and still planned to harm him. Later, she wouldn't quite able to explain her thought process. Kotori just decided it was her newly-found maternal instincts for Letty and her desire to get them away from any other student they could possibly hurt that made it happen.
Reeling the arm holding her bag, with the book Kronk had returned to her earlier still inside it, backwards, the librarian threw it with devastating aim straight at the Swordsman's face, hitting the bullseye as the book connected with his nose and with a loud snap, broke it heavily and sent him backwards onto the ground.
This was the scene the rest of the staff stumbled upon after reaching the front yard. Kotori huffing and puffing in a mixture of anger and fear, Kuro snarling viciously in her arms and a formerly monologuing fool beyond compare on the ground with a bleeding and broken nose.

"KOROTI!"
Isabelle couldn't help but call out Kotori's name in concern and fear as staff members arrived. For some, it was hard to tell what was fully going on when they arrived to the scene. All they could see was four oddly dressed humans with one of them holding out an arrow, ready to fire at any moment. Followed by a book falling to the ground. Still, there were the others to worry about. They didn't know any powers this group could have. For all they knew, the swordsman could very well have healing powers like some people they knew. They had to act fast, but careful.
Ragna was the first to make his weapon known, pointing it towards this new group. In seconds, different plans of attacks formed in his mind: Taking out the archery was the best bet, but getting close was the problem. The one dressed as an old fashion Cleric could be tricky as well, leaving the only woman of the group and possible swordsman that could be fought in close combine. Red flames started to form around Mulan's hands, taking aim towards the Cleric. If Kotori of all people were fighting someone, it was a sign they already got a warning to stand in her mind.
Gohin cursed to himself when he arrived. If he had to guess, those four were rough adventurers, or something similar to the job. Clearly from some far away from their clothing. One was already bleeding, by the looks of it, though his eyes were on Kotori and Kuro. He rushed over to the two.
"Are any of you two hurt?" Gohin whispered quietly.
It was foolish to ask if they were alright. One look alone would make that question clear as day.

Kotori just barely registered Isabelle calling out her name as she glared at the group of four, the most furious expression on her face that anyone had ever seen before. She didn't even turn in the other staff's direction, though she saw Ragna and Mulan's movements out of the corner of her eye.
Kotori was a kind, open-minded woman to most everyone who knew her...so, to see her so blatantly furious and violent made it quite clear that something was very wrong.
Gohin's question snapped her out of it, however. A good thing, considering Kuro was furious enough on both their behalves. "I'm okay, Gohin-san." Kotori reassured with a small smile, tired but not willing to show a single sign of weakness while those...monsters were anywhere near her or the school.
"She'll be even better once I rip these bastards to shreds!!" Kuro snarled, furiously attempting to wriggle out of the librarian grip, but unwilling to actually struggle, not wanting to hurt Kotori.
If Kotori hadn't been holding him, it was very clear that if Kuro had his way, the intruders would have been dead and in pieces before the rest of the staff would have even arrived. Not that the rest of the staff arriving would save them.
Akemi and Ramos briefly paused at the sight in front of them, but quickly regained their senses and rushed over to Kotori, the cook stepping in front of the librarian to act as a shield with a sharp glare, holding her knife up and ready to swing it at any wrong move from the intruders.
"Kuro, please calm down." Ramos pleaded, trying to calm his old friend. It was very rarely that the gardener had ever seen Kuro so furious, and he had seen the feline demon angry in so many ways over the years. Still, that he wasn't beyond all reason was a good sign. "What has you so angry?"
"They're trying to get to one of the students, and Kotori gave them a warning to go away when I told her about them being there!! They were gonna kill her, I heard them!! " Kuro erupted, his voice echoing across the entire front yard for everyone to hear. And what a damning sentence for the Swordsman's group. The final nail in the coffin.
Glancing over her shoulder to briefly check on them as Ramos tried to soothe the feline demon, Akemi frowned. She knew the librarian wasn't one to just recklessly hurt someone like this, so these people had to have done something wrong, while Kuro was so furious...and then it hit her, just as Kuro revealed what he had heard. These were the people who had tormented Letty.
These were the people who just threatened Kotori and tried to kill her to get to Letty. They had tried to hurt her "children". Akemi's restraint snapped.
In all honesty, most of the staff at the school can say this one true sentence; they had never seen Akemi truly angry, to the point of practically oozing bloodlust at someone. Until today.

The heroes looked how little by little the dwellers of the dungeon -due their fragile dumb minds think- are appearing to protect the dragon that had caused so much trouble back in their lands. The next part of the plan is going forward towards the entrance and trying to not die -yeah, sure- in the process. Of course, in paper sounds great...yet when the literally composition of papers was launched towards the face of the swordsman -Who has a name like the rest but by easygoing it will be called as his class-, breaking his nose bridge and making him land over his back.
"Damn you!!" Archer fires an arrow at the girl as soon as the attack was done, yet dodging the face of the girl at inches near the ear. "Never saw a witch who uses books as ammunition. Better be careful this battle might not as easy as we think"
"I'll try to make you a breach" Thief said, before saw a very bloodlusting furious cook with several knives in her hands "Seems the cook is also a terrible monster to deal with, so that means, this dungeon is also filled with richest"
Cleric uses his holy light to heal part of the damage, the -dumb as rock- leader was delivered. He looks the strange white haired man with a massive sword, the girl with flaming fist, the small dog and others who started to appear. "I can see a vampire and I assume it's her concubine and mascot right there. Also I can see a kind of Rose Monster, and a Beastmaster nearby too" Talking about Rose, who arrived with N.Brio behind her. And Frank with Rivet and Yuu.
By far, Rose had heard the intruders are just people hunting for something. Frank just looked the group ahead. "Yuu, tell me. The weapons they are carrying are dangerous?"
Yuu, looked by distance, their weapons.
"A Holy Baton, a Long Broadsword, a pair of knives and a large oak longbow with thirty arrows behind the quiver...seems those are used more to offensive than defensive" Yuu said.
"So, these idiots shall attack on sudden?" Rose, who was nearby and eavesdropping, said to herself and N.Brio; picking off potions from her satchel "Seems I was correct in bring these with me."
"They will be remain undergroUND!!" N.Brio gulps his potion to turn big and bulky "IF THEY DARE TO COME HERE!!"
"Archer, use your invisibility and find the dragon. We shall cover you" Swords whispered to the one keeping an eye on the enemies before them "Cleric, Thief and I will fight against the brainwashed guardians"
"Give me a breach to get going" Archer whispered back.
"Okay" Cleric walked a few steps forward "Holy Mantle!" and makes an almost blinding light around him. Allowing the Archer turn invisible and go around searching where the dragon might hide. While the others prepare for the worse. -and they will not be walking ever again-

They tried to kill a student and a staff member...they tried to kill people part of HER family?! Isabelle was normally understanding. Heck, one had to be with her job. People from all over the world came here for a number of different reasons. And, naturally, came the struggles of learning the different rules the town and school ran by if the person came from a place that still lived in the age of vikings, knights, or a place where demons, mermaids, and other magical creatures lived at. Misunderstandings happened.
But this...this was no misunderstanding. Rather than trying to learn about the country (Assuming they were from a different one, given their clothing), they went around acting like the whole world worked like that. Like there couldn't be just a small chance they were in the town.
And that just pissed Isabelle off.
Before she could give orders, the arrow was fired, quickly followed by the light. From the yell she heard, it sounded like Gohin used his arm to block it from hitting Kotori. She cringed, covering her eyes as she tried to look towards the attackers. One of them had disappeared, mainly they could either turn invisible or teleport. Meaning, those searching for anyone else breaking in would most likely run into him if he got past everyone else. Or (And God forbid it) any sneaky students who got away from the dorms and went hunting. She loved the students like her own children, and knew many of them who would jump at the chance to help.
"Kotori, let go of Kuro!" Isabelle ordered. "Everyone else, you know what to do!"
...I'm going to kill them.
That was the very first thought Ragna had when Kuro spoke what happened. In seconds, he had, at last, twenty ways to make them beg for mercy. Came with the adventurer when dealing with criminals. Before he could charge forward, there was a bright light for a moment. Once it died down, it was easy to see the archer was gone. Meaning either invisible or teleport...if he turned invisible, they could-
"-Let go of Kuro! Everyone else, you know what to do!"
...Well, those idiots were screwed. He didn't need to be told twice as he charged forward, Mulan following close behind as she fired her attacks.
Gohin cursed from the pain of the arrow. Yet...he wasn't sure how to fully explain it. It hurt, but it wasn't as bad as it should be. There didn't seem to be any blood. However, his thoughts quickly changed from Kuro's words. So, attempted murders, huh? Even if they lived from the beating they were able to get, the panda would be very temperate to let them die. However, the thought of them in a jail cell was nice too. He doubted some other criminals would take kindly to a group wanting to kill a kid.
He heard Isabelle's orders as he snapped part of the arrow from sticking out. Pulling it out completely wasn't smart now. His studies taught him doing so could cause bleeding, or make bleeding flow quickly out the body.
"Kotori, you may want to take cover." Gohin whispered.

Akemi could feel the instant Isabelle had gained the same murderous fury that the cook did upon having Kuro's words fully sink in. The second it sunk in for everyone there. And some dark, vindictive part of her (that she never let anyone see, she hated that part of her at times) felt oh so pleased, because she knew these criminals wouldn't be walking away tonight.
Not after what they'd just done, and what was just revealed. They would be lucky to still be breathing. (Thank God that she didn't have to worry about Letty, not with John guarding him)
But then, the abrupt firing of the arrow and the bright light blinded Akemi, who could almost literally feel a snarl form on her face. Blinking spots out of her sight, she narrowed her eyes at the missing member of the intruders. Invisibility, or teleportation magic, then. Annoying, very annoying...but they could work with that. Akemi wasn't a fighter, but she knew where to aim a knife. And that would be enough to keep Kotori safe, if she had anything to say about it.
Kotori flinched, curling herself into a ball when the sound of the arrow firing echoed through the air, every instinct in her body screaming (Going to die, going to die!). But the sound of Gohin's voice briefly yelling, and then cursing had her tentatively open her eyes, which widened in shock at seeing the arrow sticking out of the anthro's arm. Gasping in combined shock and worry, Kotori stepped closer in concern.
"Gohin-san, your arm...!" She whimpered. Just then, Kotori distantly heard Isabelle's orders and her grip loosened unconsciously on the feline demon, which gave Kuro just enough leeway to actually get free with a victorious yowl, landing on the ground with all of his claws extended and his sharp fangs bared, tail lashing about in anger.
The librarian could see that there was no blood on the anthro's arm, but the sheer escalation of the situation had her mind whirling, trying to make sense of things, to the point she barely heard Gohin caution her to take cover. Just then, Ramos gently took a hold of her shoulder and began steering her to a safe spot, away from the fighting.
"Akemi and I will keep her safe. You handle them." The gardener reassured, frowning in the direction of the school's attackers. To think, people who would so boldly state their intent to murder an innocent young woman and child... As much as things changed, the more they stayed the same, in some cases.
The cook followed close behind the two, her hand clenched tight around the handle of her knife. Ramos knew she followed them to keep Kotori safe just as much as she did to stop herself from going into the fray. It was always the mothers who were the most vicious.
Kuro couldn't stop himself from feeling vicious, vindictive pleasure at hearing Isabelle tell Kotori to let him go. He would follow the orders of the current headmaster/mistress of any generation of the school, but the safety and protection of everyone came first above all else. And this was Isabelle saying he was free to act as he saw fit in regards to keep everyone safe. With both Ramos and Akemi keeping Kotori safe, he didn't have to worry.
He could just let all this anger loose. And that's exactly what Kuro did, landing on the ground and immediately stalking his way towards the intruders, snarling. He stopped holding himself back, and threw himself into the role he played. Protector and Guardian.

The actions were given and the teachers were prepared to act, not only to protect the children who are inside the structure but keep those who think the same politics and the same ideologies shall affect all. But, mindlessly, missing the point in respect others. When the light of the cleric was raised, the teachers shielded their eyes to not get blind by the sudden attack. It was obvious these idiots had crossed the line further than they expected. AS things cannot get more complicate, the one who uses bow and arrow fired a projectile towards a teacher.
"N.Brio!!" Rose commanded as the already bulky giant green scientist took a leap towards the attackers. Going straight where Gohin is with a potion she created.
"Yuu, I know you are not fighter but..." Frank was going to advise yet looked the boy's tail bristled as they DARED to perform an attack towards an innocent girl, he jumped from where he was to land next Kotori and Gohin. "Okay, seems we are going to make them dance"
Rivet picked off one of her tools she uses for weapon creations and to help Frank in his experiments, little words she need to land over the ground and rush towards the attackers too. Frank followed, slowly but steady. He might be so new about the whole thing by looking how angered is Isabelle and how aggressive is turning Kuro...this reminds him in that scenario he was left behind yet he prefers to fight instead run away to save himself selfishly.
Swords, Cleric and Thief looked how the dwellers had decided to have defensive and offensive ways towards them.
"This might the battle of our lives" Swords said valiantly -and foolishly- towards the incoming. "Let's go! I can take you all" putting his sword in front of him as ready to leap to fight. -or try to die fast-.
"Shadow Waltz" Thief used a dark ability to enhance her movement speed as trying to use the same night in her favor.
"Seraph's Grace!" Cleric protected Swords for any incoming heavy attack.
By far, the three were just doing an attack, an evasive speed attack and a defensive spell...yet that remains the one who is hidden by sight or by distance. AS the three were going to -die- fight towards the -so-called guardians of the dungeon- teachers; Archer, in the other hand, had the mission to find the whereabouts of the dragon...one thing was for sure and it was a really luck Letty has.
Despite be an accident, the heroes don't know he is not the massive dragon they had know for many, many attempts they had done...so, it will hard to them find where is he.
Either way, the job of him is either, or find the dragon in the perimeter or find a way inside the dungeon. As take the risk in awaken other guardians who might be inside defending the hallways and the interiors too...however, anything to defeat what they consider -stupidly- is a threat to all kingdoms and towns. He moved the quickest as possible away where the fight shall take place.

As Kuro stalked forward, growls rumbling in his chest, he could feel himself grow larger and larger, until the bottom of his chin was where the top of the Swordman's head would reach, his two tails lashing about viciously and slamming into the ground.
His nails sharpened and lengthened, and his teeth grew sharper and larger with his mouth, until they were more then perfect fits for tearing foolish, prejudiced intruders to shreds with a single bite.
If these fools wanted a demon, they had very well gotten one. Though it would come at the cost of a limb or two. His transformation complete, Kuro didn't wait for them to take in his change in size, and charged straight for the cleric with a yowl, extending his paw with it's sharp claws and swinging downwards, aiming for the chest, and if he couldn't hit him there...the legs would do just fine.
After all, can't run away if you can't even walk. And if the legs don't work, the arms will be PERFECT.
Settling Kotori down gently on a bench a fair bits away from the battle ensuing, Ramos gently took her hands and held them, feeling them shake as the librarian's mind ran in circles trying to comprehend what had almost happened to her, breathing heavily. It pained him to see her so confused and scared. It was never easy when this happened, especially when someone came so close to dying.
He knew she wouldn't be able to give a fully accurate description of what was happening to her, either.
"Kotori, dear. I need you to take some deep breaths for me, alright? I'll do it with you." Ramos coaxed, smiling encouragingly when she looked at him, her chest heaving but giving a shaky nod. "Alright, just follow my breathing. It'll take a bit, but you'll feel better." With that, the gardener carefully began to breath in and out, taking a moment between each breath then continuing.
Slowly, slowly but surely, Kotori's breathing began to follow. All the while, Ramos was all too aware of how Akemi stood silent guard, positioning herself directly between the two of them and the fight. It was unnerving, for the cook to be so silent...but then again, an angry dragon had been poked. Only natural for her to be so furious.
Akemi, on her part, just silently listened to Ramos guiding Kotori's breathing, clenching the grip of her knife so tightly it was likely if she had been gripping the blade itself, she would have damaged the nerves in her hands permanently. She couldn't fight right now, but... a flash of the archer's face ran through her head as her eyes narrowed.
There was still something she could do. Pulling out her phone from her pocket, Akemi opened up her messages with John and sent a quick message.
Akemi: Be on high alert. One of the intruders snuck past us and got into the school. It's a group of so-called "heroes" trying to get to Letty.
John: Roger, ma'am.
The reply made a vicious smile spread on her face, and Akemi tucked her phone away, hefting the butcher's knife up to have it ready at any sign of movement their way.
In the cafeteria, John put away his own phone, solemnly staring down at his rifle arm before turning his gaze towards the doorway to the room, unlocking the firing system and spreading his arms across his open legs, deliberately aiming the barrel of the gun at the door in case someone came in...not that they would really notice the fact that a gun was being pointed at them. As a sailor, you learn a few tricks over the years on how to be subtle.
Especially after you learn the hard way of what happens if you get caught.

Seeing Kuro charged towards the cleric, Ragna turned his sights on the other two. He swung his sword towards the Thief, hoping to knock the weapons out of her hands. He wasn't sure of the full effect this Shadow something had, but it was clear she had to be a shadow element user. And speaking the spell was a rookie mistake in his mind. One lesson he made clear to students was to try to learn spells to the point you didn't need to say the words. They should come to you naturally, or you risk your foe getting an upper hand if they learned what your magical power was.
His right hand gained a black and red fog around it and started to spread towards his sword. Mulan started to run towards the back of the Thief, hoping she hadn't been noticed by the pinkish haired woman. Mulan trusted Ragna could handle getting rid of the weapons, but if they could knock the Thief out, the better.
Gohin nodded at Romas's words before he turned his attention to the attackers. Without a moment of hesitant, the panda anthro charged towards. He didn't have any weapons on him, but his fists should be good enough. He tried to sniff the air in hopes he can catch the Archer's scent. His may be far weaker from other anthro's, but he needed to try. He was sure others could handle Archer if he somehow got in, it but it better to end this fight as quickly as possible.
Isabelle glanced back towards Kotori, Akemi, and Romas. It nearly broke her heart to see poor Kotori so shoken up. As much as Isabelle wanted to go over and help, she knew she needed to trust Romas on the matter. The headmistress was like the captain to a team. If something went wrong in battle, she would need to give the orders on their next move. A cloud of white sparkles started to form over her left hand before she ran towards Kuro's direction.

Cleric looked how the cat charged towards him, he raised his baton and pointed a sacred bolt towards the feline believing he will not miss the shot. "Incantation of the High Priests of Hellheim, Hollet!!" of course, the attacks he performed were direct light projectiles that, if didn't hit, they kept flying till hit something or someone. Thing Frank might discover from five of the attacks he performed...he raised his bat to hit the orb. Yet, it pushed him backwards as it disappeared by impact.
"Frank!!" Rivet yelled
"I'm okay, just don't stay near those...whatever those are..." Frank coughs yet it was not so serious than a mere gut punch push.
Thief looked the sword of the white haired vampire and the sudden fire of the concubine. -ideas of Sword she believes- "Brightest Night, Brightest Shadow. Shadow Melt" she jumped higher using the shadows, before return back to the ground and make any area covered in shadows/dark act as water.
"YOU ARE TRESPASSING!!" N. Brio jumped higher where the thief is, and by landing the shadows, acted as a pond of black water.
"We are the saviors of Yggdrasil. Just hand us the dragon!!" Just until, something popped off the ground... "Hey, Thief...I didn't know you could summon creatures"
"I can't" Thief responded in echoes where she was. Swords attacked yet the creature wasn't really harmed as bite the steel of the human. As struggle to attack again.
"Is that...?" Frank asked
"No doubt. One of Fran's shadows is here" Yuu pointed out "We can use it on our advantage.
The Archer has a problem... The dragon is nowhere to be seen. Then, he could see how one of the beasts started to move outside the group sniffing the area. Archer has little time to be found by him. "I have no time to deal with a guardian...need to find the dragon" he whispered. "Make one of me using the noise of silence. Copy" He moved where a trail of footprints can be seen, yet an exact copy of him, appeared in front of Gohin with obvious intentions to fire an arrow or two.

Kuro dodged the projectiles gracefully, though a few singed his fur and caused cuts that bled. Landing in front of the cleric, he tackled him to the ground, knocking his weapon out of his and pinning his limbs down by digging his claws into them as Kuro snarled in his face.
It was hilarious how they thought just one spell could take him out. He'd been doing this for years. If these so-called saviors were actually smart, they would fight decently.
The only smart thing they did was send off their archer, but Kuro knew the rest of the staff was on high alert, and Gohin had gone after him. Even if the panda anthro couldn't catch the archer, another member of the staff would. Especially considering just many of them were combat trained.
And, the feline demon smirked, they didn't have shadows that worked of their own free will on their side.
After finally catching her breath, Kotori felt her shoulders shaking as the weight of the situation finally started hitting her a bit. It wasn't fully settling in, no, her own survival instincts wouldn't let that happen until the threat was good and gone. But she understood how close she got to loosing a limb or an eye.
"There we are." Ramos said, rubbing her shoulder comfortingly. "Don't you worry about a thing. Isabelle and the others are handling it now, and soon, those people won't be able to hurt anyone again." He had full faith in the other's abilities to defeat the intruders, and even if these fools were stronger then they looked, the police would be here shortly.
But, to the gardener's surprise, Kotori's head suddenly shot up as she focused on the group of invaders, and what little color she had regained drained from her face once again upon seeing the archer was gone.
No...no, no, NO. "Letty." She whispered, fear filling her eyes.
They were after Letty, they were after that sweet little boy! She had to....she had to get to him first. She had to get to Letty before anyone else. Panic-fueled adrenaline filled her veins as she stood up and dashed over to the doors leading inside, pushing them open and leaving them to slam into the walls as Kotori ran as fast as she could towards the cafeteria.
Please, God! Please, let Letty be okay!
"Kotori, wait!" Ramos yelled, standing as Akemi turned, shocked at the abrupt departure from the librarian before understanding filtered onto her face. Pulling out her phone, Akemi sent off a quick message to John, texting as fast as she could.
Akemi: John, Kotori is heading your way! She's too worried about Letty to be thinking straight! The second she gets there, lock all the doors and shoot anyone or anything that's not apart of the staff that comes inside!
John: Got it! Carrot just said she's on her way over here, I'll let the lass know to keep an eye out.
Carrot dashed her way through the halls, frowning over the text she had just gotten from John. Things were definitely complicated, and the rabbit anthro knew it would be a long night ahead of them. First hearing Kuro's unnerving howl, then checking every nook and cranny she could find in this school to make sure no one else had snuck in and now, someone had managed to get past the others and was looking for a student while Kotori was trying to get to them.
"This is not good..." She muttered to herself, before her ears perked up at the sound of a bow's string being drawn back. She saw a man, dressed in outfits that made him seem like an adventurer...aiming to shoot at Gohin?! Carrot immediately maneuvered herself to throw a kick at the human before her eyes were drawn to the sight of foot steps, moving away from what was happening.
She assessed the situation quickly from what little clues she had. 1. Gohin was injured and about to fight an intruder. 2. There were two intruders inside. 3. One of them was invisible. With these hints, Carrot came to a simple conclusion: The invisible one was the more dire threat, and needed to be stop immediately. Gohin was more then skilled enough to handle the guy in front of him.
Jumping up, Carrot let her magic course her legs all the way down to the soles of her boots, and aimed at where she assumed the head of the enemy was.
A massive SLAM! echoed through the halls as her feet made contact, electricity coursing through the intruder's body as the anthro's momentum and strength pinned him to the ground, the heels of her shoes digging into his body.

Cleric was absolutely defeated as he was not as strong when Kuro jumped, tackled him and kicked off the weapon he has. The imbecile was not going to oppose resistance on the moment that happened. While Thief and Swords have their own problems to handle. Being the shadow user trying to find a way to evade Ragna, Mulan and N.Brio...as focused the main problem is both the yellow dog or the cat. And Swords, who was struggling and fighting with an ooze-shadow monster, not focusing in his surroundings.
Archer, however, was now visible and quite close where the footprints were leading to. "So close. I am so close" He has nothing to worry about the other him back there. As soon as the anthro rabbit jumped to kick he could feel part of the damage. Yet, might disappear like someone would destroy a mirror in shards. "Next time, I going to learn another power that doesn't involve been hurt." "Wonder if those three are already death or were defeated..." he sighed...yet a small 'click' was heard where he was heading. Of course, he cannot become invisible after four minutes. "Who are you?" preparing an arrow to whatever the 'click' sounded "Just hand the dragon. Once defeated, we will not bother you more"

Certain that his prey wouldn't try to escape, Kuro headbutted the cleric's forehead, causing his head to harshly collide with the ground and knock the human out. One down, three to go. And it looked like they would have two more in the bag, soon enough. He let out a low rumble as he delicately picked up the cleric's staff in his mouth and moved it away from it's owner's unconscious body.
Wouldn't want to give him a chance to wake up and grab it.
Carrot clicked her tongue in annoyance, as the intruder underneath her feet shattered similarity to glass. "Dammit, copy magic? I hate when they do this crap!" She pouted, standing up and stomping her foot on the shards, pettily attempting to inflict more damage even though they were already broken.
Huffing through her nose, Carrot turned towards the older anthro, walking over to him. "You alright, Gohin? I was heading over to John, and got a text that Kotori's coming our way, too." The rabbit explained, tilting her head to examine Gohin's wounded arm. It wasn't too badly hurt, from what she could tell. But then again, Carrot wasn't a doctor or nurse. Tadashi would have to take a look, later.
John silently watched the slightly ajar cafeteria doors, every other entry and exit way closed and locked up after he got Akemi's text. The cabinet Letty was hiding was now closed, the small dragon still cowering inside when the cyborg had gently shut it tight. Poor lad was scared out of his wits, and it sounded like Kotori was in the same way...seems these intruders have gone a bit too far.
It'd been a while since he had fought anyone with his arm in it's rifle form...but well, you never loose good aim if you practice often enough. And when it was early morning, that's just what John did. Practiced to keep his skills in shape. The world wasn't always kind, like the school made one think.
His arm clicked when he moved it to aim at the door upon seeing movement, and after hearing the unknown voice, John chuckled darkly. "Ah, lad, that's what I should be saying. You know, we here at the academy are decent folk. We treat the kids well, keep 'em safe and sound, teach 'em how the world works..." He spoke, lumbering over to the side, the one blind spot in the cafeteria that only someone who worked here would know.
In this spot, John could easily shoot the intruder into swiss cheese before he could fully pull back that bow of his. The people who designed the place didn't leave things up to chances.
"But, now and then, we have your types hanging around. Unsavory, thinking they're playing a game or being the hero..." John continued, flicking back the safety of his rifle arm silently. "Well...to be frank, lad, we don't like those kind of games round here. It scares the children."
"And if it's there something we all really hate," John growled. "It's when the children are scared."
He pulled the trigger, firing his rifle arm and hitting the archer straight in the shoulder. It was a shot designed to be painful, but to keep the victim alive. After all, the police needed to interrogate them.
Kotori's breath hitched at hearing the gunshot, and she ran even faster, clenching the fabric of her dress over where her heart was, gasping heavily as the adrenaline pushed her close to her limits. "Please, be okay...!"
She wouldn't be able to live with herself if Letty was hurt right after she promised him earlier that he would be safe here, that she would protect him!
