Akemi smiled but shrugged. "Not quite sure, to be honest. He seems to have eaten meat fine, so that's what I'm going with for now. We might have to call an expert on magical species for recommendations for his diet." Most of the students had sent a list of allergens or foods they couldn't eat for specific reasons, as such as species, beliefs and the like.
But considering Letty's sudden appearance and lack of knowledge about technology, it was likely he wouldn't have been any to give the staff any information beforehand. Still, she knew they would figure out it.
Kotori giggled at seeing the two interact, she knew Kronk wouldn't judge or treat Letty badly, but it wouldn't stop her form worrying, regardless. Everyone on staff thought Kronk was both very helpful and kind, so she had been often advised on asking Kronk for help if she needed it. But Kotori knew he already had a lot on his plate, so Kotori tended to handle most of her problems with Sylvia's help, considering most of them happened in the library.
Still, it was always nice to just have a chat with him when they both had the time. Perhaps he could help her get Letty out of his shell. "I'm sure you will, Kronk. If not, I'll come get it myself, as usual." As she said, it was nice to chat with Kronk when he DIDN'T forget to return books he had borrowed from the library.

Kronk had to see that coming, since he had arrived the women had to figure it out the diet of the dragon, and by eating meat it was the first good reaction they were in the right path to comprehend the dragon more and more. Yet, it seems the dragon be more open to give a more attention to whatever he has to offer. After all, a dragon like this must know how to submit great beasts or how to breath fire from the snout. But Kronk wasn't there when Letty was blaming himself for been an excuse of dragon. Even the same Letty was trying to find a place inside the academy since he arrived. Trying his best and trying was his best shot in those instances.
Kronk was turning the pages about the dragons. "Let's see, here it said dragons are voracious flying monsters who like to eat anything meat based. From flocks of chickens, to herds of sheep, even those who enslave humans for their sick diversion..."
"I cannot eat chickens they laugh towards me... Sheep are too fast to catch... and humans are scary" of course, Letty was telling the disadvantages he had suffered while under his own, despite be with Dearie, he was trying -and failing- in find independence.
"...Dragons, most of them, are carnivorous in many aspects. Being the Red Dragon species part of the most terrifying kind. They are known to live in caves next volcano craters or where the lava once flowed, fire breathers by nature and dominants of the skies. They are both feared and appreciated, also they have a great tendency to hoard coins, treasures or anything brilliant as a crow might do but in extensive quantities. A dragon without a treasure to defend, it's one who is searching for one to own or take away..."
"Heat is not a problem but I don't want to be roasted and then eaten! Caves are nice spots to live but there is someone who had arrived first and I don't want to snatch their place...neither I have the strength to do it so. I always burned my tongue by trying to spew small flames from my mouth, I am a dragon's lowlife by not be capable of flying. I am more scared of humans and monsters just look at me as a savior when I only want a place to live in peace. And treasure looks more as a problem to have in house by knowing the great number of thieves these days...also with my lack of attack and defense, little I can do to stop them..."
"...and even if its a myth. Dragons like to capture princesses to have the attention of the crowd to be pointed as the tyrants of their lands. As a way to show their dominance over the other creatures below them, and show to their own kin their attributes over a nation. While more powerful his dominance is, a dragon is more recognized. Dragons with a title forged by those who look at him as a challenge, are dragons who shall keep it. Besides, dragons have a very age-slow condition. While a human, having 40 is elderly speaking. A dragon with 1000 years is considered elderly"
"The last time I was in castle was by mistake, I didn't wanted to be there it was Dearie showing me a dungeon where to live...never expected be owned by a king...the least I want is be in some trophies hall portrayed as a hunting trophy, my family recognized me as a failure, I hardly can stand by my own. Having 200 years is not the big deal...according to Dearie, I am around 16 years old..."
Letty curled once more but in shame for what he remembered. While Kronk closed the book with a big smile on his face, a very ignorant smile as he thought Letty was just a timid dragon.
"And that's all what this book said about dragons. Do you think Letty would be a mighty one that is just trying to not be the big deal?" he asked foolishly. AS he was ignorant about the faces the dragon was doing as he started to describe his kin.

Both women just sweatdropped. Oh boy. Kotori laughed sheepishly, patting Letty on the head as Kronk smiled obliviously. Oh, Kronk was a sweetheart...when he wasn't accidentally doing things like this. Poor Letty's self-esteem took a dive, it seems.
"W-well, I think he's just...young, for his kind. After all, it takes time and practice to get a fearsome reputation like that, right?" Kotori pointed out, hoping it would maybe help Letty not feel so bad about himself. Still, that was a...lot of unfortunate mishaps on Letty's journey, to say the least.
"That's right, it takes time, effort and practice for things like that!" Akemi agreed, nodding. "I'm sure he'll figure out what works for him as he grows and gets older. And a few years of schooling here at the academy couldn't hurt, either."
Kotori worried about that, especially with all those troublemakers about. She hoped they didn't drag Letty into their antics.

It took some time before Kronk was reading silently about anything that might help Letty have a good mood. However, Letty was not in the point to really listen or hear more about what his kin is capable to do and what he doesn't. Or has no interest in learn more. He had heard it from his clan. Dragons to eat from metal and overtaken damage from the weapons silly heroes had made their riots to hunt one of them. Even one is a big challenge. Letty's belly growled once more, informing his apetite hadn't lowered.
"Oh, there is something...Not all dragons have the same features like others. Example, Red Dragons...it is said, these Dragons are nomadic creatures who shall fly from den to castle, from village to mountains until find a place where to inhabit. And once dwelling a place, it is hard convince them to move to another" Kronk smiled giving hopes of Letty.
The dragon heard that words. yet deep inside knew if Kotori and Akemi continue treating him as a pet and when he grows stronger, he shall use the academy grounds as den...Kinda he accepted it but he has little shyness to express it loudly.

Kotori hummed in thought at hearing this bit of information from Kronk. To be honest, Kotori didn't really have much hope for Letty to become a fearsome dragon as rumors and myths about his species said, and she didn't really think it suited him, either. The boy seemed like he just wanted a place to live where he would be safe, and wouldn't have to fight. And considering both the school's location, and just how long of a lifespan dragons had...
It was likely Letty's instincts might latch onto the school as a safe den to nest in, and he would be around for future generations of students and staff. But that was just a possibility, one of many, in fact. Kotori wasn't sure living so close to a town would be good for a dragon who would only grow larger and larger. Still, they would just have to wait and see.
Akemi cleared her throat politely upon hearing Letty's stomach growl. "Well, we can talk about all that, later. Let's feed the poor boy, shall we?" She suggested, smiling as Kotori blinked and got a bit flustered. Oh dear, the librarian got lost in thought again.
"O-oh, of course, you're right! I almost forgot!" Kotori stammered, bring a hand up to cup her cheek in embarrassment as she sighed. Her bad habit strikes again...

Letty was no in his right position to judge nor to respond back. He holds his ID card as it was important to talk with the owner of the building right away. It is so good and very lovable what the girls are doing for him and all the stuff...But he wanted to be sure the place can adapt to have someone like him in the building. It is not going to be first time be rejected inside a place he doesn't know if the owner would be okay or not in have a massive dragon inside the corridors and have special class sessions for him. He doesn't want to be used to have those kind of things. He wanted to assist as a normal student and all the stuff. Like be small in the average human form he was moments ago. He really has a bad time trying to not be very reliable on others...yet seems he has not many options until find his respective independence.
Kronk saw him a bit worried. And perhaps, kinda, understands by sight what the dragon might is thinking. It is normal for humans and some creatures access the place with ease, yet if he cannot then...
"Gonna ask Rose. She might has something that can help the dragon friend to be into a more reliable size to pass into the doors and some corridors..." Kronk mentioned as ready to run...just to stop abruptly, and hand over the book to Kotori with a big smile showing his teeth as he didn't forget the words he used before, and then, he accelerated inside the building to where he was going.
Letty was not sure what he is going to do with a...Rose? Is that a name or he has what humans called mental symptoms? Like he is has an idea but needs the help/company of something to work better. The dragon stayed there curled. As yawning little, ready to sleep a bit.

Kotori blinked, then giggled, taking the book back as Kronk rushed off to find Rose. Kronk was not only very helpful and kind, but kept to his word...honestly, the school was very fortunate to have him.
Smiling softly when she heard Letty yawn, Kotori gently patted the dragon on the head, stroking his scales. "So much excitement going on, huh? Hopefully, we'll at least be able to get you inside for you to sleep out of the cold." She said, looking back at the book in her other hand and turning it around as she examined it. As usual, Kronk kept books in good shape when he borrowed them.
"I'm sure it'll be fine. Rose always has something up her sleeve...or I suppose leaf would be a better term?" Akemi mused, a finger touching her chin in thought. Being a sentient plant, it wasn't always easy to use most human terms on the potions teacher, and she didn't want to accidentally insult or upset Rose.
Kotori shrugged in response. As long as it could apply to Rose, she didn't think the term really mattered...unless Rose herself personally corrected you.

Rose had been in her own studio while gardening her garden with great dedication, she got distracted when Kronk arrived like train inside the classroom, the words of the gentle muscled man were given by the living plant, she floated towards her desk and started to see some potions and flasks she had been doing since the beginning of the classes. Not many students assisted that day and those who were presented were given instructions to make a basic healing potion. Seems she had to be quite strict next time her class opens...Either way, she gave to Kronk a flask with a blue color liquid inside. She specifies the liquid must be drank. never poured. Because if poured, the side effects might not be the ones Kotori was trying to accomplish. Kronk asked if there is a counter spell if that happens...sadly, Rose answered in have no antidote as it will be the first time over a dragon.
After it, Kronk picked the bottle and ran back where Letty might be. Hope instructions be not so hard to remember and not commit a mistake. And if they do, Rose shall excuse herself about being her first legit time using a potion over a dragon.
Far from there, still in Lunaville's shop centers, Dearie sneezed again while taking a coffee with a handsome yet mysterious snake that is talking about the business he is having with his shop of gowns and dresses. Thing Dearie might visit him often to buy better clothing. seems I need to go where Letty is to know if things are okay he thinks as he drank in small sips the coffee.

Kotori placed the bag in her bag so she wouldn't accidentally drop it, and would be able to return it back to the library later. Though, to be honest, she might have to save that parrt for tomorrow, considering how the sky was slowly darkening. It wasn't quite near night time, but it was steadily approaching the evening. Time was slowly running out while they tried to figure out a way to get Letty inside.
The librarian knew they would find a solution eventually, but she had hoped it would be before the sun set. Letty deserved the chance to be able both relax and have been able to explore the school at his leisure on his first day here. Well, at least he would have the rest of his time here to do so.
Akemi placed a hand on her bandanna as a cold breeze blew by, gently ruffling the two women's clothing and causing them to shiver. Tonight definitely seemed like it was going to be cold. "I might have to make hot chocolate for everyone..." Akemi mused.

Letty kept looking down as he messed it up, he knows it is not useful remind the mistake he does, like it was not important anymore. Perhaps part of the thing of been a child or a still-evolving to teens dragon. Perhaps it was time to confront the weather as he was going to be in the outside. Only if he could regulate his fires or his red dragon aspect conditions well...
"Kotori!" Kronk arrived having a trail of dust behind yet sliding towards the librarian. "Rose had a small solution, she is not sure if that might help..." he spoke to her "She mentioned to be drank not poured" He gave the simple instructions towards her.
Letty looked the blue liquid inside the glass bottle that is carrying it inside using a normal cork as main access towards the substance that feels quite odd. However, the man said the simple instructions to follow. The dragon sighed like it was a bad omen if he tries it. "Can you give it to me? I am not sure if I can handle the bottle well due my size" in part, he was right. The bottle can be handle by humans their size, not a dragon eight stories tall.

Both women blinked as they watched the comical dust cloud that followed behind Kronk as he ran their way, sliding to a stop. It reminded Akemi of those old cartoons she would watch as a child. Considering it was Kronk, she wasn't surprised he had managed to accomplish it. This man was in class all of his own, and it sometimes made her wonder.
Carefully taking the potion, the librarian smiled. "Thank you, Kronk, you've been a great help." Lifting the bottle up to her eyes, Kotori watched the blue liquid inside swish and swirl with every movement, almost seeming to gleam in the setting sunlight. It was a rather beautiful potion, and Kotori had to hand it to Rose.
The effects, however... Kotori nodded in response to Letty's question. "Of course, Letty. Not quite sure how this potion is going to taste, but if it'll help you out, it's worth a shot." Gently uncorking the bottle, Kotori brought the potion close to the dragon's mouth, carefully helping him drink it. Now, all they had to do was wait.

Kronk smiled towards the girls and the dragon who was calmer than before, even if Kronk wasn't there at the beginning, he might noticed the dragon might have a large time trying to get habituated around...either way, he supposed the liquid Rose gave to him would help in anything the dragon is struggling to achieve. Letty opened his maw and ready to drink the liquid the glass bottle has within.
By far, the flask got poured inside the mouth of the immense red winged lizard as he gulped all the content once it went inside his throat and going straight below his stomach. Letty was going to say thanks for the attempt to make him smaller thanks tho the bottle, however his body started to flinched. He grabbed his tummy feeling odd and off too. And by others' eyes, his size started to be less and less bigger. Yet, his size turned more smaller than his actual size.

Kotori's eyes widened as she watched Letty clutch at his stomach, and started to shrink. Oh, of all the things to give a student, a shrinking potion?! Granted, Kronk had mentioned that Rose wasn't sure how exactly the potion would affect the dragon. But, still...! What if he shrunk too much?! She fretted back and forth, watching carefully to make sure nothing else happened to him.
Akemi gasped, covering her mouth in surprise as Letty shrunk. The poor dear clearly looked a bit uncomfortable during the whole process, but hopefully, the potion's effect would quickly stop, and not just continue. Still, the cook made a mental note to herself to bring up possibly looking into potion effects on magical species to both Rose and Isabelle. It wouldn't be good if they accidentally used something dangerous on a student.

Letty had to close his eyes as the shrinking started to happen on him, yet he didn't feel it at all. Instead his stomach was growling, like the liquid did something in his tummy that is growling abnormally. Kronk gasped as the dragon goes small, and small and small...and small. "Oh my!! I going to advise Rose about this!!" Kronk said scared as the potion was making the dragon more and more smaller by the second, he hasted back to the corridors. It was a bad sign...
Then, Letty burped and the shrinking ended.
"Oh my, I feel so weird..." the dragon might admit by holding his head while trying to look his surroundings. He looked the grass unusually bigger than he expected, he looked around just to discover the size of the librarian before him. The potion shrank him...till the size of an average dog. "What was that!? Why I am so small!?" Letty screamed realizing he was smaller but not the way he expected to be. "i wanted to be small as a human not as...something much smaller than a human..." He curled once more, as an average dog might do. Feeling quite scared and confused as well.

Kotori blinked, crouching down to get a better look at the...dog-sized dragon. She wasn't all that familiar with dog-breeds, but Kotori would say Letty was now around the size of a...bulldog? Not too small, but not too large, either. Just around average. Well, that is one way to solve a problem, she supposed.
Carefully picking Letty up, and adjusting him so he laid comfortably in her arms, the librarian stood back up and looked down at the dragon. Smiling sheepishly, she gently petted him. "Well, while this isn't the best solution...at least you can get inside now." Kotori said.
If anything, it was much easier to find a spot for Letty to stay until they had his whole situation all sorted out and an actual room ready for him. But he couldn't stay this way, forever. It wasn't his natural size, and who knows how that would affect his health and growth in the future.
Akemi giggled, reaching out to also pet him. "Big or small, you are a very adorable dragon. And it'll be easier to eat now, I believe." The cook pointed out. While at this size, Letty would now be able to at, least for a short while, be able to be fed normal portions rather then the massive ones he had been given earlier. And it would be easier for him to feel full, as well.
