I was thinking about Syndrome class and how he might state some facts. I was thinking of making one of these facts the statistical ratio of Magic Users and Non-Magic Users.
I was thinking of having the statistic being “43 percent of the world’s population are Magic Users” because we have a large chunk of Magic user and I feel like 43% is a reasonable enough number that fit with the general world population along with flexible factors to think about and include later. Like Magic users born with Magic vs. those that gain powers through other means. Average age of power development, populations and places where magic or powers aren’t common, highest population of elemental Magic user, etc.
I’m just giving ideas. This more of just what you think of them rather asking questions because I’m a weirdo who likes numbers.

That's honestly not a bad percent to go off by. Since some species are counted as magical creatures rather than normal magic users. Plus I imagine some magic users either gaining their powers through different means or awaking them far later in life then others easily here.

We can say the percentage of the magical users who born with are less than the actual ones roaming around. Due the ones around might obtain it from others, awake them unbeknownst, were subjects in clandestine laboratories, mutants by the same, by some material, chemicals or drugs, have a magic and a non magic family interaction...and diverse things.
Of course, The non magic ones are more numerous. Like saying, magic ones are like anomalies nature do in strange times when one arrive at the world. (But since I study medicine, the percentage of anomalies is much bigger but not spottable that easy)

I made it such a high amount because a lot of the characters we’ve chosen are magic users or have powers and it’d be unrealistic to use Rowling’s statistic of wizards to muggles where the number of wizards at Hogwarts is 1/3 of the overall UK wizard population.
