At the Shining Sun Cafe, Bendy drummed his pencil repeatedly on the table he was sitting at, staring at a notebook pad laid out before him. A glass of juice and a couple of cookies were on the table as well. He had been staring at the blank page for a while now. It was a bit jarring to have complete choice of something. The ink demon had never been to school before, let alone actually chose anything he would like to learn about. And now with this "freedom", he had trouble using it.
Bendy took a sip of his juice as his diamond-tipped tail swished back and forth. What classes to pick? Some classes didn't have an exact time and there were limited choices for a being made of ink. All he knew was that he needed a minimum of six classes. There was also the case of leaving his schedule free in order to help out at the Spells and Charms shop. What was he going to do?

Kuro lazily yawned as he walked into the cafe, his sharp canines glinting briefly due to a ray of light as he heard the door bell's jingling. He glanced around the cafe, looking for an empty table, but not really seeing one at first glance.
Frankly, as a returning student, Kuro wasn't all that excited for the semester. Not due to any fault of the staff or anything, Kuro wouldn't put it on them. He knew the real reason, was that he was just too dang lazy to want to do anything except lay around. He'd rather be in his dorm-room napping right now, but those two other students, the headmistress's younger cousin and the shapeshifting teacher's son if he remembered right, were being a bit too loud for his liking as they got the dorms ready for the new students.
So, he figured he'd go on a walk around town, maybe settle down somewhere for a nap. Blake and Val would come get him anyways if he stayed out too long, what nice friends. During his walk, his stomach decided it was hungry, so a stop to the cafe didn't sound like a bad idea. Now, all he had to to was find a seat.

Bendy continued to stare and he placed his pencil down to write when something new entered the cafe, causing him to immediately break his pencil and his tail to immediately shot up in the air.
Unknown to most, Bendy’s a demon of gluttony. It was his job, his being to be attracted to gluttony. And not just the food and drink aspect either. It was gluttony as in the excess of anything. Doing things too much. Especially if it were tied with another cardinal sin. Now most people do things a little too much and he’s learned to not be affected by it. But there have been moments when he felt a high concentration of gluttony that he couldn’t resist.
This was one of those moments.
The toon-like imp glanced up at the new person and it was fun at first sight. This person had a lot of Sloth in him. Wasn’t as adrenaline-inducing as other sins, but he’ll take it!
Bendy grinned wide, his ink practically glowing orange as he pulled up an empty chair from his table and some of his ink formed arrows pointing to the chair. Usually he wouldn’t do this, but his emotions were getting the better of him.

Kuro blinked as he spotted movement from the corner of his eye, glancing over to see what looked liked a cartoonish imp grinning widely at him as...slightly glowing ink arrows pointed at a pulled-out chair at the table? ...Well, not something you see everyday.
Generally, Kuro wouldn't just waltz right on over, despite his laziness, he had manners, and he wasn't that trusting. But it was clear the seat was pulled out for him, and looking at the imp, Kuro didn't really feel any danger. Seemed something about him had the toon pretty interested in him. It couldn't hurt to indulge him, could it?
Shrugging, the enchanted bell necklace he wore jingling at the motion, Kuro walked over to the chair and sat down, scooting it back closer to the table.

Inside, Bendy couldn’t contain his excitement! The guy actually sat down at his table instead of ignoring it! And the bell on the person’s necklace jingling caused him to squeal mentally. But he had to compose himself. Play it cool! He didn’t want to annoy or scare the other off. The ink dropped onto the floor and returned to his feet as he cleared his throat a bit.
“Hey~!” Bendy greeted with a slight wave, trying to be smooth. What was he supposed to say? ‘I noticed you are very lazy. Wanna hang out?’ That sounded crazy! His mind was going blank, but he couldn’t back out now. He kept reminding himself not to influence the other in any way or make it weird. “Name’s Bendy. How are ya? Can I get ya anything? It’s on me.”
Nailed it.

Raising an eyebrow at the small imp's excitement, as well as the ink dripping down to the floor and seeming to rejoin the imp, Kuro wondered if what he was getting into was worth it. Well, too late now, he sat down and ain't moving from this chair. Might as well talk with the imp, Bendy he said his name was, and see what he wanted from him.
"Yo. Name's Kuro." Kuro nodded in greeting, leaning back and relaxing in the chair, "Doing alright, I guess. And just a coke, if you really don't mind." The girls were always getting on his back to be at least a little polite, especially Blake. He didn't wanna get another earful from the cat-earred girl. Val would be no help, she'd just laugh.
Sometimes, he wondered how he got involved with those two.
