Violet tilted her head as she looked at Kaveh, who was clearly panting after carrying the package up the stairs. While fortunately it hadn't been to difficult to maneuver and get up the steps, Violet knew just from looking at him that Kaveh had some trouble with the weight of it.
If her father were here, he would have definitely made a comment about if Kaveh were an adventurer, he would have been down for the count from exhaustion before an hour was up...and then henpick the man's eating and sleeping habits, scolding him to take better care of himself. Revali was funny that way.
"If you're certain. If you need any help, you can come to my apartment." Violet suggested, pulling out her phone to text her coworkers that she had finished her delivery. Considering she got a thumbs-up in reply shortly after, Violet assumed they had been waiting for it and she was now off the clock.
Pursuing her lips to blow, Violet let out a short whistle, which catch Gil's attention as he was being pet by Tohru. Licking the dragon shapeshifter's hand in farewell, Gil barked as he ran up the stairs to his owner, tail wagging the entire time.
Chuckling, Tohru grabbed the cleaning supplies off of the counter and walked over to the supply closet to finish her work.

Kaveh just relieved to get the packaged up to his floor, but he didn’t really hear much on what Violet said due to the pounding of his heart ringing in his ears. He knew it was probably just reminding him that is he ever needed help to go get her. It wouldn’t be the first time some gave Kaveh that advice.
Kaveh was infamous from rejecting help from others but always willing to help when others need it. He knew that was something he should work on but he always tell himself, ‘That’s future Kaveh’s problem right now I have this to focus on.’ Which had been his excuse countless times. He then finally gets his breathing under control and pushes the box down the hallway about two doors away from the stair well entrance.
He was panting and grunting the whole time but he got it there in no time. By no time it was 6 minutes. Kaveh leans against the box for a second for mental and physical support.
“Finally… home… sweet… ho-“ Kaveh reaching for his pocket to pull out his apartment key only to froze seeing he pulls out a spoon from his pocket. As his starring at the utensil his mind slowly comprehends what not in his hand.
“Wait… I thought I put you in the dishwasher… you’re not there… then that means I put…” he thinks to himself out loud. And as the conclusion came to mind, Kaveh’s stamina quickly recovers as if he had 3 expressos in a row and he starts to try and turn the knob. Only for his dismay that he did indeed lock the door from the inside before leaving. Kaveh tries aggressively turning and pulling at his locked door. The last thing he wanted was to break down and cry after all this hard and kind embarrassing work due to how he tried so hard to get the packed up himself only for his very pour muscle in his arms shows he wasn’t capable yet to do such as task. But there wasn’t any luck the door remains closed and now he is stuck outside his apartment along with his new desk. If it were anyone else they might be better at asking, but not Kaveh. He hasn’t really asked for anything sense before his parents split. So asking now was difficult he just hopes whoever is able to discover the predicament defore he has to ask.
“Well maybe I could be seen outside bye Tohru or her wife will see me and help me out so I don’t have to ask.” Kaveh trying to convince himself that waiting is a better plan than any.

Turning away from her phone to smile and reach down to pat Gil, Violet blinked when her Rockruff just looked in Kaveh's direction and barked. Turning to look, Violet blinked upon seeing Kaveh desperately try and turn his doorknob, to no avail. Considering how exhausted he looked, as well as the fact that while she wasn't a big gossip listener, Vioelt knew just enough of Kaveh's bad habits of not asking anyone for help to know where this was going. It seems that in a tired rush or something similar, he forgot his house keys. Though, to be honest, that isn't a hard thing to do, considering there's been several times Violet had to hold a package while the recipient either called for the landlord, tried to find their spare key or even both, depending on where they lived. And considering what little she could hear of Kaveh talking to himself, it seems like he wasn't going to go out of his way to ask for help. Violet brought up her phone and started texting. Violet: Tohru, it's Violet. It seems that Kaveh doesn't have his apartment keys on him. Can you or Haru please come by to help?
It took a moment for a reply to come through. Tohru: Of course, Violet-san! I'm really busy doing cleaning at the moment, so Haru will be there in a few minutes!
Violet: Thank you.
In the meantime, Gil wandered over to Kaveh, sitting down at the young man's feet and looking up at him with his tail wagging. It was a clear bid for attention.

Kaveh sighs feeling his nervous getting to him with impatient nerves. He pinches the bridge of his nose in frustration and he then felt something by his feet. He looks down and notices Violet’s rockruff at his feet. Kaveh smiles a little seeing the little pokemon by him, begging for attention. And so Kaveh bent down to pet him.
“Hey little guy. Shouldn’t you be with Violet?” Kaveh smiling feeling less nervous on his own issues. He won’t lie, Gil was so soft! ‘Oh my goodness this little guy is so safe and fluffy! Oooh if only I can borrow him for when I over work myself. He would be awesome at snuggle during naps.’ Kaveh thought to himself and he notices Violet standing there near by. He mentally sighs seeing Violet most likely saw his failed attempts at getting inside his apartment.
“Sooo… you saw all of that earlier? I’m just assuming.” Kaveh a little embarrassed having someone see him struggle with so much in one day, it probably only showed her how out of shape and how badly he takes care of himself. He always tells himself he'll do better once his debts have been paid off finally. But it seems luck literally decided to take a holiday from him. If he ever had luck to begin with see how his neighbor saw him. But now he was kinda spent after getting the desk to his door. So he decided to lean against his door and rest and restore his little stamina for when he can get into his apartment and get the package in and set up his new desk.

Gil panted happily as Kaveh petted him, his tail practically wagging a mile a minute. Violet smiled slightly as she watched, Gil was always rather happy when he was able to get someone to pet him. While she always did her best to give him attention, Violet knew that such a friendly and affectionate Pokemon like him wouldn't be content with just one person giving him affection, as much as he adored her.
Upon hearing Kaveh's question, Violet nodded as she walked a bit closer, looking down at the architect as he leaned back against his door. "Yes, I did. I texted Tohru, and she said she'll let Haru know." Violet explained, carefully crouching down, making sure to press her long skirt close to her legs to avoid it just dragging against the floor.
"Forgetting one's keys isn't necessarily bad, nor is asking for help when you need it." Violet stated, after a long moment of just watching Kaveh. "It is better to recognize when a person needs help and ask for it, rather then upsetting and worrying others when you end up hurting yourself trying to do something on your own."
Growing up, Revali had often scolded her for doing things on her own when she hadn't needed to, saying that as her guardian and father, she was supposed to rely on him and try to get out of doing things on her own, like a regular young girl should. Gilbert, in his own way, had said the same thing when they were working together and she didn't take breaks when she needed to.
As a result, Violet had failed when Gilbert had needed her most. Things were...still very hard, some days, but Violet kept walking forward, asking help whenever she needed it from others. She didn't want Kaveh to feel that way himself one day, so she thought it best to make it clear to him.

Kaveh was grateful that Violet did that for him by texting Tohru for him. If he wasn’t so prone to not bothering people with his problems he probably would have done it himself. Sadly that a habit he still needs to break.
After hearing Violet give him the same lecture that so many others have given him especially his work friend Pauline would give him. ‘Don’t be afraid to ask for help. It’s best to let others if you need help or need more time with a project the pushing yourself.’ Kaveh thinks to himself of others similar advice to his habits.
He sighs and nervously rubs the back of his neck. “Yeah… it’s easier said then done when it comes to me… I have no problem helping others with their problems…” Kaveh looking down to Gil as he gently scratched behind his ears as he was thinking to every single time he spent helping others instead of helping himself or struggled to say no to something. “But when it comes to my own… they seem so minuscule compared to others who probably need more help or don’t need to be bothered.” Kaveh being pretty honest about his thought process. Which to him, he believes it’s true his problems are smaller than others. Then he realize he may have opened to much hoping to not make things awkward. 'Man I must be more exhausted then I look just saying all that all at once.' Kaveh thought to himself as he realize what he just said out loud to someone he just met.
“Sorry that was probably too personal to share.. um topic change…” Kaveh tries thinking of a way to change the subject. “Sooooo… how long have you lived in Lunaville, Violet? If you don’t mind me asking?” He was really hoping that Violet would be alright to the sudden subject change.
