The different new reporters for SoM. Granted, as some could hint in their information, not all of them live in Lunaville, but they're well known to citizens in one way or another. That said, here is who we have so far.
-From Lunaville-
Lois Lane (Justice League: The Animated Series)- One of the braincells in Lunaville’s news department, Lois prefers to keep a level-headed mind in the midst of all the madness in Lunaville caused by its civilians and students. In stark contrast to Jameson, she prefers dealing with absolute facts versus slander and is ready to help seek the truth whenever injustice arises. She has no magic and is single.
J. Jonah Jameson (Marvel’s Spider-Man) - A no-nonsense loud-mouth journalist who constantly tries to discredit Arcane Magi Academy whenever disaster is caused by the school’s troublemakers. He also tends to be very critical of the school’s acceptance of magical creatures, such as demons and certain types of anthros, but hardly anyone sides with him. Sometimes people still question why he’s even still reporting when barely anyone listens to Jameson’s endless rants. Others believe, the owner keeps him around simply out of either pity or the hope that Jameson will become more open minded over time. Single, straight, and not really interested in a relationship right now.
Keisuke Muruto (Birdy the Mighty: Decode) - Unlike his coworkers, Keisuke Muruto tends to get himself into trouble every now and then. Initially from a town where magic wasn’t as common as others, Keisuke thought Lunaville was a bit strange so-to-speak as he often believed in numerous claims about some of the creatures in the town only to find out they weren’t even true. Although a bit disappointed that the rumors were false, Keisuke managed to get through the craziness of Lunaville by becoming a journalist in hopes of investigating the mysteries hidden in the town. Straight, has no magic of his own, but he is looking for a romantic partner.
Taneo Tokuda (My Hero Academia) - A relaxed and laid back reporter with the ability to manipulate cameras from his body. Initially appearing to have shady motives whenever he is on an assignment, though really he is just trying to do what’s right and making sure people do the right thing. He’s also a strong supporter of what Arcane Magi Academy is trying to do by accepting magical creatures and anthros into the school, leading him to frequently ignore Jameson’s rants on a daily basis.
April O’Neil (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 80s version) - A kind and capable woman, another one of the braincells in the news department. She is almost always finding herself undercover to find out the truth whenever she gets a new case to investigate. However…it’s because of this, it tends to lead her into more trouble than she’d like and usually ends up getting kidnapped as a result of out of town assignments. Still, April doesn’t back down without a fight and manages to escape just in time to deliver her report. Single, but is potentially looking for a relationship in the future.
Shandra Jimenez (Gravity Falls) - A slightly sarcastic news reporter, part of the Lunaville’s news team. She’s been known to catch the eyes of various adults and teenagers. Despite this, she still tries to do her best to give honest reports, even if some of them may end up a little strange. Single and not really interested in a relationship right now.
Roxanne Ritchi (Megamind) -Journalist for the local news. Non-magic. Usually goes by her last name at her job to avoid confusion. A level-headed, brave and practical woman, Roxanne believes in being honest when telling the news, though she is fine with small white lies. She will not, however, tolerate blatant or exaggerated lies about what they’re reporting about, and this often puts her at odds with Jonah, who will discredit the academy any chance he gets, while she views it in a positive light and does her best to let viewers know that while not perfect, Arcane Magia is still a wonderful academy. She often does similar work to April on her search for the truth, but somehow always has a freeze ray or something similar to keep herself safe, usually a gift from Syx at the research lab. Bi.
Sam Sparks (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) - A weather reporter for the local news in Lunaville. Has minor weather-control magic. Outgoing, extroverted, talkative, and socially competent, some say Sam is in the perfect place for her. But those close to her have noticed she isn’t really happy working as a reporter, and try to encourage her to pursue her real dream of being a meteorologist at the Membrane Research facility, but she’s hesitant about it due to previous bullying she faced when she was younger. Perhaps some people in town can help her see there’s nothing wrong with being herself? Bi, has a soft spot for Flint Lockwood.

Perhaps some people in town can help her see there’s nothing wrong with being herself? Bi, has a soft spot for Flint Lockwood.
Manny (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) - Cameraman for the local news, and apparently a jack-of-all-trades. Has no magic. Manny is a stoic man of few words, but he is talented and intelligent. Everything is done with peak precision, and no action is taken or words spoken unless necessary, essentially making the moment he speaks up usually important. He claims to have gone through several careers before becoming a cameraman, such as being a doctor, pilot, licensed crane operator, race car driver and even comedian. Evidence of the last one often shows up in Manny’s very dry and deadpan sense of humor. Asexual.
Perry Porter (The Owl House) - Reporter for the Lunaville News. Has minor fortune-telling magic. Perry is a clear spoken and detailed man, reporting what he is assigned with great clarity. He refuses to exclude any information he obtains in order to provide a full picture of the situation he’s reporting on. However, he also does his best to prevent more private information from making an appearance. Perry dislikes those who badmouth magic and the town simply because of how chaotic it is, believing it is important for things to be unique in their own way. He is also a caring father towards his son, Gus, but also takes his job seriously, seeing as he doesn’t like it when his son interrupts him while he’s live.
Clark Kent (DC Comics) - A journalist for Lunaville News. Has super strength and can fly. A calm, often humble and rational man, Clark came from humble beginnings as the son of two farmers who dearly loved him and did their best to raise him well. He can occasionally become overly-emotional and see things in black and white, but becoming a journalist has greatly helped to expand his world-view from when he first joined as a young adult, and he’s grateful for the life experiences and friends it’s given him. Clark does his best to help others with both his job and abilities where he can, even if it puts him in stressful or dangerous situations. His friends do their best to help him take care of himself as well, though. Bisexual.
Milly Ashford (Code Geass) - A reporter for Lunaville News. Has no magic. A recent graduate of Magia Academy, Milly will be the first to admit she definitely didn’t have the best reputation among her fellow students. Often viewed as a sort of bully who often toyed and messed around with others insecurities, and not giving up even when it’s clear she’s won a confrontation, which made her look heavily condescending towards others. She would even occasionally go as far as to rally the entire school into finding out others' secrets, and will, to this day, often go over-the-top with events, to the dismay of some and the excitement of the rest. However, her fellow classmates misunderstood this, because in truth, it was actually Milly’s playfulness trying to make friends, which didn’t quite end so well. She deeply cares about the people around her and remains serious when the matter calls for it, often becoming internally upset when people reject her kindness, even if she understands the reasoning they have for being wary of her. Not interested in dating.
Luka Redgrave (Bayonetta) - Journalist for Lunaville News. Seems to have no magic. A man with a connection to Bayonetta, Luka has been a devoted…”follower” of her, though many people would possibly liken it to stalking. However, everyone knows it’s simply because of the mysteries and wonders that follow the Umbra Matriarch and her fellow Witches, as well as what the clan has uncovered in the time since it’s revival. Luka often says he’s been looking for the truth from a young age, after the death of his father, but not many are sure whether it’s the truth of his death he’s looking for…or maybe the truth of his own history. Luka tries to show off a confident and intelligent side, both through his investigations into the happenings surrounding him and how he personally conducts himself around others, particularly with women. However, he is prone to moments of being rather clumsy and in over his head with some of the things he tries to do. He has a strong sense of justice and the same near obsessive nature towards the truth of things as his late father once had. Bisexual.
Wolf W. Wolf (Hoodwinked) - Investigative reporter for the Lunaville News, and wolf anthro. Can use disguise magic. Wolf can look and act quite uncouth, dry as well as blunt, and he is sarcastic and often comes up with witty remarks. Though being quite clueless, along with being the comic relief at times, he can be fairly smart and resourceful when things go wrong. In general, Wolf is just a determined, bold and laid-back guy who wants to spread the news, be it good or bad, and help people keep aware. Straight.
Twitchy Squirrel (Hoodwinked) - Wolf’s best friend, and the photographer that usually follows him around for scoops. Squirrel anthro. Twitchy REALLY lives up to his name, often being fast in both movement and speech, as well all over the place and usually just doing what a squirrel does. He is known for his high-pitched, chipmunk-like voice, and fast talking…which makes his speech barely comprehensible for most people. Wolf is one of the few people to understand him. All of the town agrees that unless it’s absolutely needed, no one is to EVER give Twitchy coffee. Not interested in dating.
'Aunt’ Artic Hazepeak (Club Penguin) - A female penguin anthro known for her advice columnist at the Lunaville local news. Arctic is a kind, optimistic, organized and generous woman that almost always seems to have an answer for any problem she encounters. Her articles are known to be quite popular among the children, even some of the older students. Not really looking forward to a relationship right now, but is good friends with Cadence and Gary and has no magic.
Shoko Asami (Angelic Layer) - Reporter for Lunaville News, as well as Shuko Suzuhara’s younger sister and the aunt of Misaki Suzuhara. Has no magic. Typically covering news about things like gaming events, local competitions and such, Shoko is a confident woman who, though she enjoys her work, wishes that sometimes she could cover some of the more interesting stories. Still, due to her niece’s participation in the popular Angelic Layer, Shoko remains steadfast and does her best to do proper and encouraging reports about the game. Due to her older sister’s currency residency in the hospital, as well as the fact their parents aren’t able to care for Misaki during her schooling, Misaki lives with Shoko when not staying in the academy dorms. While friendly and laid-back, Shoko doesn’t like being called anything like “Auntie”, so she prefers to be called “Miss”. Straight.
Carly Carmine (Yu-Gi-Oh 5D’s) - Local reporter for Lunaville News. Has fortune-telling magic. Carly, though friendly, caring and supportive, she has…well, less than stellar luck when it comes to scoops. Typically, if something can go wrong during a report or interview with Carly, it generally does. As a result, several people question if she’s genuinely just that unlucky or if she’s cursed. Frankly, Carly could care less as long as it goes away and she can finally do her job in peace. Having grown up in the orphanage, Carly started her career rather simply. She enjoyed taking pictures and seeing others succeed, so it was pretty clear to her what she wanted to do one day. Still, even if she gets discouraged or upset about things going wrong, Carly never stops trying. She focuses more on rumors about other people’s relationships then her own, but some people have noticed she gets rather dreamy-eyed and giggly when talking about Jack Atlas.
Kari Tsukumo (Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal) - Journalist at Lunaville News, and the older sister of Yuma Tsukumo. Has no magic. Kari can be a tad self-centered at times, occasionally sending others out to find her scoops to make reports on, even if it is dangerous or hazardous. She can also be a tad aggressive, willing to physically wrestle even her little brother if he tries doing something stupid. Still, she does take into consideration the risks of any situation, and does what she can to make it safer and easier for the ones involved. Despite being hard on Yuma, Kari genuinely loves and cares for him, being very protective of him and just wanting to keep him safe. Their parents were adventurers who suddenly vanished one day, but Kari has always kept her promise about keeping Yuma safe to them, and she refuses to let anything change that. Lesbian.

Charlotte (Genshin Impact) - A journalist for Lunaville’s news. Has photography magic. Charlotte is always on the prowl for an exclusive scoop. Ever so relentless and indefatigable, she won't stop until she finds out the truth, even if she comes closer to danger. Charlotte is extremely devoted to her occupation as a journalist, frequently finding the "best scoop" in the news to share with her readers. This has frequently resulted in her appearing anywhere in an instant if something piqued her interest, and sometimes even resulting in her running into danger in the process. Once something gets her interest, she becomes extremely relentless in an attempt to interview them. Charlotte's devotion to finding the best news has made her popular among readers in Lunaville…even if at times her immense devotion to her work can be an inconvenience for others. Not interested in dating.
James ‘Jimmy’ Olsen’ (My Adventures with Superman) - Student at Grimoire University and Photographer for Lunaville news, partnered with Alice Lane and Jack Kent. Has no magic. Jimmy is always bubbling with excitement to chase down a scoop. However, his immensely strong belief in the paranormal and the supernatural often shocks people with his role as a journalist even in a world of magic, where he strives to find well-founded facts. Surprisingly, though, he manages to blend these two passions together, becoming a shockingly adept detective who is incredibly useful in unraveling the mysteries of the day. Even in a world full of magic and mystical beings, there’s lore and myths dismissed as make-believe, but Jimmy’s determined to find out the truth behind them. He is a reliable friend, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Despite his quirks, his genuine care and enthusiasm make him a valuable member for the news team. Bisexual.
Alice Lane (My Adventures with Superman) - Student at Grimoire University and Reporter for Lunaville News, and the niece of Lois Lane. Has no magic. Alice is a spirited tomboy with a fiery passion for the truth and an unapologetic disdain for liars. Instead of her aunt’s professional demeanor, Alice has a bold and no-nonsense attitude that's unafraid to get her hands dirty to dig out the real story. Alice, with her adventurous spirit, finds herself drawn to stories that unveil the secrets hidden in the shadows. Her relentless pursuit of truth is driven not only by a sense of justice but also by her personal vendetta against deception. While her integrity and determination are noble, her reckless and impulsive tendencies tend to drag her and her friends into more trouble, especially when she never takes into consideration the severity of the situation. Her approach to her work may be unconventional, but her sharp instincts and intuition more than make up for it. She relies on her gut feeling and street smarts as much as she does on formal sources. Her friends and allies know that she's fiercely loyal and won't hesitate to have their backs in tough situations. Bisexual.
Jack Kent (My Adventures with Superman) - Student at Grimoire University and Reporter for Lunaville news, and the younger brother of Clark Kent. Has the same powers as his older brothers. Jack is a nice, kind-hearted and friendly guy who desires a normal life. Despite being clumsy and a bit of a dork, his good-natured demeanor is a breath of fresh air to his friends and makes him someone to depend on. In short, Jack acts like a Boy Scout and tries not to get into too much trouble, though trouble seems to find a way to catch up to him. In the beginning, however, Jack is hesitant to use his powers, displaying a strong apprehension of losing control while also being seen as a freak. When his friends are in trouble, he lets go of those inhibitions and is even willing to risk his life to save them. Jack is also compassionate, selfless and caring who genuinely wants to help others, making him very popular among most single people in Lunaville, though they often have to go through Alice Lane first. Demisexual.
Lucy Heartfilia (Fairy Tail) - Reporter for Lunaville News, as well as student at Grimoire University. Can summon celestial spirits and use their powers as her own through contracts. Lucy takes exceptional pride in her appearance and is very confident in her looks, often exuding a certain amount of vanity. Despite this superficial attitude, she is a clever, kind, and genuinely caring person. Lucy is passionate for literature and is in the process of writing her own novel about her adventures in Lunaville although she doesn't like telling anyone about it. Although Lucy is, in most cases, cowardly and easily frightened, she has no problems with fighting and would happily stand up to danger, even if she ends up getting hurt, for her friends. She usually remains a voice of reason, even when things are going crazy, as per the norm in Lunaville. Bisexual.
Kei Amakura (Fatal Frame) - A journalist/folklorist for Lunaville news, as well as the uncle of Mio and Mayu Amakura. Has no magic. Acting as the legal guardian for the Amakrua twins, Kei actually worked with Mayufu Hinasaki, Miku Hinsaki’s older brother, and Yuu Asou, Rei Kurosawa’s fiance as editors. Sadly, to this day, he is the only survivor of the trio due to Mafuyu’s death due to malicious spirits and Yuu’s death in a car accident. As a result, he suffers from a form of survivor’s guilt, but instead of letting it consume him, he focuses on taking care of his nieces and making sure they’re safe, healthy and happy. Even if he doesn’t understand their concerns and worries, Kei takes them seriously and does whatever he can to help them. When one needs info about any folklore and such, Kei is usually the one to go to. Not interested in dating.
Rei Kurosawa (Fatal Frame) - Photographer for Lunaville News and Hisoka Kurosawa’s cousin. Has minor water magic. The former fiance of Yuu Asou, who worked with and was close friends with Mayufu Hinasaki and Kei Amakura, to the point they were named the legal guardians of Miku Hinasaki, Mafuyu’s younger sister should anything happen to him, which it sadly did. Sometime after Mafuyu’s death, Yuu died in a terrible car accident, leaving Rei heartbroken and grief-stricken as the only survivor. Fortunately, focusing on taking care of Miku, as well as going to therapy and counseling for her grief, helped keep Rei afloat rather than her falling into a deep depression. As a result, she was worried sick when Miku suddenly vanished without warning. However, with the whole situation with Miku and her daughter Miu now being worked on some years later, Rei hopes to finally talk with Miku and understand why she left without telling anyone. Has no intent on dating again.
Gayle Gossip (Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu) - Anchorwoman and reporter for Lunaville news. Has no magic. Competent, professional and composed, Gayle is one who ,while remaining positive and open-minded, will be the first to criticize and point out the flaws of something, especially if someone’s safety is in possible danger in any way possible. She cares about telling the truth and sharing what she knows overall with the local populace of Lunaville, and won’t mince words about a serious situation, doing what she can to inform others on how things are going and how to keep themselves safe. She takes her job very seriously and holds her position in high regard. When dealing with reports, Gayle puts facts and thought-out arguments over anything else, saying it’s the news job to be truthful and keep their viewers aware. Straight.
Nadja Chamack (Miraculous Ladybug) - A news reporter for Lunaville news. Can travel through screens. Nadja is nice, informative, and interested in getting the details of an event to Paris. She gets impatient if she has to wait too long, and she sometimes goes too far in her quest for news, occasionally being insensitive but she will apologize if called out on it and better herself from the experience. Through all of her reports, she is professional and formal, but at the same time, she willingly expresses concern or happiness during particular instances. WHile friendly, Nadja typically is able to remain professional no matter what. Most people remember that one time when some rude tourist insulted her fashion choices on television, she looked rather cross and offended but did not otherwise react, inspiring her fellow reporters to keep calm even when facing rude people. Straight.

-Outside Lunaville-
Roxanne Featherly (Ducktales) - An anthro mallard who always values the public’s opinion and people sometimes puts their trust in her reports. Unfortunately, it’s because of her position as a well-known reporter, her reports tend to put Arcane in either a good or bad view in the eyes of the public, sometimes putting the school at risk of their reputation being damaged. Even with this, if someone asks for her help, Roxanne is willing to do what she can to prove a person’s innocence if they’ve been falsely accused of a crime. Was an old classmate of Isabelle.
Malva (Pokemon) - Retired adventurer and News Reporter. Has fire magic. Rather self-absorbed, vain and ill-tempered, many people sometimes wonder how exactly she still has her job, but Malva takes her work and the matters she covers seriously and refuses to even consider messing around with them. Professional, composed and determined on camera, Malva always gets the truth about a scoop out there, sooner or later. No matter what danger she might find herself in, Malva has no qualms about getting her hands dirty to reveal the truth. As such, she has lines she refuses to cross, and will broadcast any scheming she finds out about, earning her begrudging admiration from many. She gets particularly heated about anything that involves children, saying anyone who uses and manipulates kids is scum she’ll be glad to see in jail. Bisexual.
Perch Perkins (Spongebob Squarepants) - Field reporter. Fish anthro with no magic. Known for his smooth-talking, Perch might be popular on television, but he’s not quite as nice on camera as he is in reality. Being rude, egotistical and self-centered, Perch is highly narcissistic, looking down on anyone as he views everyone as inferior. Still, even though he has his limits he won’t cross, even if he criticizes the academies at times, most find he actually has valid points when thinking about it. Nevertheless, he’s loyal to being truthful about the news and making sure the viewers have all the facts that they can share. Straight.
