The many creatures and humans passing around the respective shops to look-and-see the many items these have to offer. From the large Food Court, to the different shops scattered to give at the possible buyers what the clean displaying crystals offer to them. The building was very alive with many students, teachers and adults passing their ways around. Having a word with friendly faces or having small conversations with strangers who happen to be around for a casual. Either way the circumstances, the ambience really do a great job for the feral ones who are inside a small magic shop where to own one. Without risking one life to trap one in the forests. And a more legal way to obtain them too.
As the tables in the Food Court are taken off by the customers who left some leftovers or complete meals over the large tables after paying their own food, a budgie appears to take part of those meals with her. The small bird flaps her wings to soar the open space to fly at some point where the ventilation fans had stopped by some fact, maybe time, maybe malfunction or a destructive pest...either the case, the small bird finds her way inside the metallic tunnel where there is a small room where one can see some crane machines' plushies acting as pillows, a large shirt over, some socks and small pieces of jewelry. Also there is a small mirror next the corner.
The bird jumped off to land of the small room where a raven is pecking the last leftovers from a package of cookies. Both shared sights, and the small black feathered bird just accepted the small hug the budgie did on it. With the food delivered, both decided to have part of the meal the customers left by fuzzy reasons. It was not the best way to eat, however, they are not so sure when it will be the time to walk outside their small dwelling they found and installed in. And seems the workers are not around to deal with them either.
The budgie stayed in the room, sleeping over the plushies while the crow stepped over the broken ventilation fan. Looking the building surroundings, looking the many creatures and the humans passing by. To her, it's surreal. The crow flapped the wings to fly around the hallways until arrive at some point inside the huge building where the clawed talons grabbed a decoration. Just to look what might be around this new area.

Little by little, the raven approached a small table where people can be seen around. The feathered one managed to glide through the different shop crystals by looking the displaying items behind their respective crystal protections. To the creatures and persons passing by, it was quite unusual and usual see a pets around their corners. Or feral intelligent ones who might be attracted by the commodities the sentient ones have to offer. From all the views the small bird is having, it flapped it’s wings around to start flying away. But not off the building. Around and beyond the ventilation system that were not obstructed or damaged by the time and weather exposure.
The bird continued its way around the buildings until glide at a small corner where it evade part of the vision the guards and the police inside might not detect it. And from a corner where the feathered disappeared, a small girl appeared with long black hair, red eyes with tired features like she hadn’t sleep in days, wearing a common black with white uniform… As trying to be as silent as possible, she enter the bathroom and closed the same slowly. She sighed hard..and went through the faucets to clean her face.
It had passed two weeks since Aya arrived at Lunaville. She had been in that form for, at least, five straight days, while using her human form to walk around the streets and got marveled by the great diversity of people and others around. She got marveled by the animals running some shops, demihumans people with diverse animal features, or humans with or without power having nice conversations with…it was a large part of her to be there. Yet, she felt uneasy to really try a conversation under her own. She sighed while used her hands to clean her face and clean part of her hair…
She had planned to move away the building…thought she hadn’t done under her own, also she and her sister had the luck to find the small metallic room like ventilation maintenance gap like a small room to sleep. By far, people had seen her and her sister Tsuyuno around as birds. She starts to hum a small melody she once heard…a small yet sweet melody while cleaning her hair. If someone be around, thing she unknown, might think she is just watering her hair.

No matter the issues, the girl finished her last thing…she checked a few bruises she obtained once she was living with her foster family…reviving those punches her brother did on her. She sighed while sobbed little inside the bathroom. Many years away from her sister and never realize be a magical one…
“This will happen again…” Aya whispered with a small smile trying to be happy. But cannot imagine the circumstances that she could end if she stayed back where she born. Thanks to her sister, she is okay but living quite as hobos than an actual family…and she cannot but ask if the people around would comprehend them, and if they do, they have little to offer anyways.
She sighed once more before clean her tired eyes, and walk away from the bathroom she was before…she was not ready to transform into her bird form still. She needed a moment to stretch her arms and legs…she walked around the shopping center to look at the shop where the animals are. One of the many pets inside reminds her to that small cat she took care… She sighed trying to not remember the tragic ending on that poor animal that was not part of her suffering. Aya looked through the crystal display the small cat like creature with a thin smile.

Aya hadn’t stopped to look around the shops, each of the pets showed through the crystal protection was a nice surprise as she looked as the child she is the small animals walking inside their own magical cages and peeping to the possible customers who are or seeing them or walking by. Rarely one can be seen around the corner to be interested in own one. Aya was kinda trying to obtain courage to enter.
”Aya…” yet, the voice of her sister frightened her to turn and see the blond girl there as well “…mind to remind you we have no money to pay or take care for a pet”
”I was going to see them more close” Aya spoke a bit ashamed, as she has no the courage to start a conversation under her own. “It will not replace Mya…” remembering her cat she was nurturing before the whole accident. She sighed while receive a small hit over her head. “Why’s that for?”
”Don’t anchor yourself after that. Move on. You couldn’t defend it and you are in pain, but sorrow and weeping shall not bring it back to life. And better that way…perhaps it was suffering the same…it’s death was gruesome and immoral yet” Yatsumura sighed while caress the head of her sister.
“When can we move into a real house? Living in the ventilation system is not so bad but when we can sleep in a bed?” Aya spoke, her sister sighed.
“Where I born and grew up, it was a small shack with no futons where to sleep, there was to mattresses or sheets..or pillows. We have to use plushies my father used to obtain from machines or obtain ruined furniture for other things.” Yatsumura stretches her arms while looking Aya “I know you lived in a bedroom but always suffer from that scum that named itself your brother”.
“Ummm…” Aya caresses in some areas where the bruises turned into scars.
“Let’s go. We have to eat something” Yatsumura spoke again before turn into a budgie.
”Can we have a proper meal too? Leftovers are not good enough” Aya spoke yet the stent eyes of the budgie made her sigh. “Okay” she turned into a crow again. And both left the shop’s display to fly across again to seek for some leftovers.
They might look a stranger man with white hair and red clothes around but they gave it little importance, as they were heading at the food court. Same place the stranger they passed flying by is going.

"Hey, kids, get back here!"
Some of the young kids from the school and orphanage giggled as they went rushing to the food court, Ragna following close behind. The older man groaned, running a hand though his spiky hair. Why the hell Saya was able to handle them so well was something he never understood. OK, sure, he dealt with kids daily, but most were in their teens. They were more behavior-Wait, scratch that. He couldn't say all of them were more behavior with the chaos they liked to cause. Besides, those who took combine classes were also training to take up dangerous jobs someday. He had to be a bit harder on them than other teachers had to be to help them realize that detail.
He heard a small giggle as his younger sister walked up next to him. A small smirk was clear as day on her face.
"Like you never did that?" Saya asked in a playful tone. "I recall father having to chase you down many times as a kid."
"Yeah, and I got my ass handed to me." Ragna reminded, a smirk to match hers forming.
Ragna still recalled those times clear as day: He and Jin would rush to the nearest toy store to see if Klaus made anything new while Jubei would give chase. It normally ended with a scolding and teasing from Kokonoe. The teasing part never changed.
"True!" Saya couldn't help but laugh at the memory.
Ragna kept the smirk before something caught his eyes. He glanced up to see a couple of birds flying past. He blinked a bit.
'The hell...did they escape from Magic Paw?' Ragna thought.
No, they would have been an announcement if that was the case. Maybe two animals like the ones James and their co workers were having trouble checking? Or shape shifters trying to move around more freely? The mall was crowded during the weekend.
"...Hey, Saya, I'll be right back." Ragna said. "I'm gotta go check something out."
"Huh?" Saya asked.
Ragna didn't hear her as he walked away. The blonde haired woman let out a sigh and shook her head. Honestly...she hoped he wasn't still on edge after what happened earlier that week. Whenever he did so, it was deeply concerning. Saya had thought Ragna retiring would help get rid of some stress, not add onto it.

Aya and Tsuyuno kept flying over the tables and looking for anything that was left behind than some small crumbs where to peck them. It was the best option for that day…Aya was kinda hard to accept that new way…yet it was something than nothing.
”Aya…are you okay?” Tsuyuno asked at her sister who was kinda thoughtful.
”Eh? Ah…! No no…just thinking” Aya mentioned on her while kept pecking crumbs even use the straw to drink some of the liquid inside the left vase in the table. “Can birds burp?”
”I don’t think so…but do it quick, we don’t want to have someone behind us” The budgie scratches her head with the right wing, like it was a hand…
Aya smiled while looking around for anything the customers might left behind from the unoccupied tables or those the small workers hadn’t retire yet. She flew around to be next a table, but a worker was passing by. “AH!”
Aya startled the worker who hold tight the large dish and, by a blink of eye, the worker just moved to the entrance of the bathroom Aya was moments ago.
“Aya! What have you done? How are the words to have someone behind didn’t work?” The budgie flew where her sister had landed to recover her own breath.
“sorry, it wasn’t my intention…”
Surely, the small act might attract some attention, while the worker was stunned yet confused by how he ended away from the food court.

As Ragna moved closer, he heard the sound of a young female voice calling out in surprise. He frowned deeply and head to the spot as some people near the area started to whisper. Many were voices of concerns and confusion.
"What was that?" He heard a male voice whisper. However, he didn't spare a single glance to the person.
"I don't know. Maybe one of the kids?"
"Maybe."
Crap, did someone crash into someone else? Or a kid lost control of their powers? If the second one, it could get dangerous based on the power. He kept walking until he spotted the table, he swore the voice came from where-
-Two birds were at? Ragna blinked a bit before shaking his head. Had to be a shape shifter or talking animal. He took a small breath before he carefully walked towards the two. He relaxed his body in an attempt to show he wasn't dangerous. Ragna didn't want to risk scaring the two off, no matter which of the two species they could be.
"Is everything alright here?" Ragna spoke in a calm, yet concerning sounding voice.

Aya and Tsuyuno were talking about the sudden, the murmured words of some people and creatures around made the worse scenario for the two birds who didn’t expected to attract this whole attention.
”It is going to happen again…” Aya looked the same scenario when her brother was punching her in the alley, she raised her hands and, just like it, he ended in the way of a truck that charged over him. Little time she had to know his landing as she was been followed as a magic one.
”Aya, we are not more there. You can trust on me on that!” Tsuyuno tried to calm her down, it was obvious the small girl was reviving a memory she didn’t meant to do it. “Aya!!” She might spoke Lourdes her name to hark her.
”What…?” Aya flew down to be over the table. Folding her wings and looking on the budgie who was still flying and giving a stern yet concerned sight on her sister.
They might be going yet the words of someone appeared. The two birds looked at the stranger approaching. The small budgie goes down and defended the crow by puffing her feathers almost looking as a ball of feathers. It was obvious she was defending the other bird like they were partners or something else.
The Crow looked on the man. She looked at the features he has…perhaps a stranger with a peculiar way to wearing. Yet, he was there…looking at them with the question still not answered. “Should we answer him?” She asked at the small bird who didn’t have to look at her, before sighing. “No…?” Again looking on the man with a small smile from her beak… “Nothing is happen-“
The little yellow bird made a small nudge to not proceed talking. As they don’t know if he is going to do harm on them or something else.
”But, he doesn’t look…” Aya tried to mention…
”…we cannot really trust anyone. Perhaps it could be someone who might use us to win money or rather worse” the small budgie responded sternly. “Or perhaps is someone related to the city we were before…hunting us for what you did”
“It wasn’t my intention” the crow sighed trying to hold a small sob from her breath.

The birds looked upon the man, who might has a not friendly face or something that can relate if be trustworthy or someone who is fascinated with two birds that can talk. After arriving in the town, they had seen many people and creatures around the streets before. Some with their own things and their own habits. But they simply didn’t bother much about what things are away from their understanding or might be weird enough to make it happen. Yet, as the time proceeds. Aya gulps as a crow while her sister wasn’t entirely sure if the man before them has business with them or it is someone who is there to help.
Nevertheless, it is hard to think a human from their town had followed them where they are right now. Much likely, the only reason they escaped from there. Yet, Aya was losing patience. It is not like they will resolve something by being defensive all the time and hiding. They were more vagrant and hobos than inhabitants. She decided to fly up but to land over the shoulder of the man, who might be kinda habituated about all this…
Feeling like do something weird, Aya sighed before could have a small word with the man there. “Um.. hello?” She cawed with little fear in her words but trying to find courage as well. The budgie sighed while wait for the response the man shall do. It was a wild likelihood but they didn’t have another idea than escaping.
