An idea that was mentioned by DD. And given how big the city is, and just...yeah, made sense to include one.XD As always, feel free to suggest ideas, and here is who we have so far.
Kiryu Kazama (Yakuza Series) - Head of “Like A Dragon” Security, and the main enforcer. No magic, but does have some really strong strength. A stoic, but honor-bound man who lives by a strict honor code and strong sense of justice. He tends to be a friendly guy if people are friendly to him in return, and is generally considered to be a father figure by many people, especially to those who work under him. Just wants some peace and quiet, but things are always happening in Lunaville. Haruka is his adopted daughter, and he has several other adopted children who all currently live out of town, though they always call at least weekly. Demisexual, not interested in dating.
Daigo Dojima (Yakuza Series) - Second in command of the business, and generally the one to run things if Kiryu is out on a job. Can turn his body to steel. Much like Kiryu, he has a strong sense of honor and justice, though he’s definitely one of the more level-headed members. Daigo prefers to keep things peaceful, and usually tries to talk things out, but he’s not afraid to fight if needed. He looks up to Kiryu as a father-figure. Demisexual, more interested in keeping the business’s workers under control at the moment.
Ichiban Kasuga (Yakuza Series) - One of the newer members of the business, and Kiryu’s protege, often following the boss on jobs to get more experience. Has super strength. Ichiban is fiercely loyal and steadfast, often wearing his heart on his sleeve and being prone to letting his emotions get the best of him. He’s a fan of old-time games, due to growing up with them, and tends to get along with those who share the same interest. Is always respectful to women due to being raised among a large group of them in a home. Pan.
Yu Nanba (Yakuza Series) - A former nurse who quit his old job to help out Ichiban. Has minor healing magic. The medic of the security business, Nanba is rational and smart, but often toes the line between being realistic and pessimistic. He often voices his doubts and concerns about things, but he generally pulls through regardless. Tends to follow rather than lead. Occasionally helps out at the hospital when he is available. Demisexual.
Koichi Adachi (Yakuza Series) - Retired cop who joined the business as a result of Ichiban’s meddling. Has no magic. He’s often nonchalantly handling things with smart and quick thinking. Has a habit of forming hypotheses on the job, using small clues and hints from people’s words and behaviors around him. Is bad with money, often spending it on drinks. Straight, not all that interested in dating.
Saeko Mukoda (Yakuza Series) - One of the businesses' more effective members, despite her looks. Can use minor gravity magic. Saeko is a shrewd and intelligent woman with a knack for business, and often keeps track of the business’s money. She’s quite blunt, and tends to point out everyone’s hiccups, whether on or off the clock. Has been deemed the “slightly bratty younger sister” of the business, and tends to use her charms to make people’s guards lower before going for a brutal attack. Saeko is often given the job of guarding Shizuo’s bar, and doesn’t tolerate any students trying to sneak in on her watch, especially Ying. Bi.
Eri Kamataki (Yakuza Series) - Secretary of “Like A Dragon”, and usually the one handling appointments and the handling of jobs. Has no magic. A calm and kind young lady, Eri does have the habit of comically almost fainting when big surprises happen. But aside from that, she is brave and assertive, unafraid to make it clear what jobs they will and won’t take to customers. Has a pet chicken named Omelette. Asexual Lesbian.
Joon-gi Han (Yakuza Series) - One of the more behind the scenes workers, who tend to handle the more discreet jobs. Has ice-bullet magic. Han is a calm and collected man who tends to remain composed, no matter the situation. He can be rather ruthless when on the job, but deep down, he’s caring and compassionate. It just takes some time for him to come out of his shell. Usually hangs out in the office when not working. Demisexual.
Seong-Hui (Yakuza Series) - Another behind the scenes worker, who handles some of the more serious assignments. Has no magic, but is skilled with a gun. Seong-Hui is a bit of a flirtatious woman, but that’s a front to hide her merciless and ruthless actual personality, taking no quarters when it comes to the safety of the clients. She’s more jovial and relaxed around close-friends, and tends to act sisterly to people who were left behind by others. Is rather closer to Vera, Val’s sister. Lesbian.
Zho Tianyou (Yakuza Series) - One of the more eccentric members of the business, who tends to get along well with Majima. Has fire magic that he can use weapons with. Has a somewhat cold and indifferent first impression, but is actually rather mischievous, who enjoys playing pranks and messing with his co-workers. Deep down, he’s thoughtful and caring who tends to strongly relate to those who struggle to find their way in life. Is a very good cook, and often brings meals into work. Pan.
Taiga Saejima (Yakuza Series/Byakko from Fushigi Yuugi) - One of the brute enforcers. Can transform into a large tiger. He is extremely blunt, and never one to beat around the bush. Both incredibly loyal and selfless, Taiga is a man who inspires loyalty with a lot of people, and he is rather sensitive, having a soft-heart. Has PTSD from some previous events, and goes to see Takuto weekly. Is close friends with Majima, to the point of them calling each other “brothers”. Bi.
Hana Akyama (Yakuza Series) - Secretary and the general enforcer to make people in the office behave. Has super strength. In contrast to her husband, Hana is a dedicated worker who always does her best to keep the office clean. She is often strict but polite with her co-workers, but especially Shun, reminding them to clean up after themselves and keeping themselves safe on the job. She tends to scold her husband for being lazy, but the two love each other dearly. Straight, married to Shun.
Tatsuo Shinada (Yakuza Series) - One of the enforcers, and a former baseball player. Has no magic. Tatsuo is a rather unambitious and lazy person, tending to freeload off of others, but where some people would take offense at this, Tatsuo’s willing to do some work in exchange for some free-loading, such as heavy lifting, so the town is rather forgiving of this fault of his. Underneath that, he’s an optimistic and positive man who tries to find the bright side of things. He speculates he may have depression of some sort, and goes to Takuto for therapy. Straight.
Masayoshi Tanimura (Yakuza Series) - One of the newer enforcers of the business, and a recent former cop from another town. Has no magic, but is trained in both gun-usage and martial arts. Masayoshi is a determined young man with a strong sense of justice, as well as being caring and always willing to help others. However, he has a bad habit of gambling and making bets, even though it tends to earn him quite a bit of extra money. Can occasionally be seen exchanging info with Val for bets. Bi.
Takeshi Kido (Yakuza Series/Ein from Cowboy Bebop) - One of the newest enforcers of the business, and Taiga’s protege. Can transform into a dog. Takeshi is a friendly guy who tends to hide a ton of ambition, wanting to rise higher in the world. However, he does genuinely care about others and doesn’t mind this kind of work. Looks up to the others in the business. Doesn’t usually turn into a dog, but will do it on some jobs in order to lower the guard of anybody who would try anything. Takeshi is also willing to let kids pet him when he’s transformed. Bi.
Leonardo “Leo” Hamato (TMNT 2003) - Eldest of the Hamato Brothers, and the de-facto leader, working as April O’Neils bodyguards most of the time. Has ground magic and is skilled with his two katanas. As the eldest and the leader, Leo exhibits an honorable, sensitive, patient and encouraging personality most of the time. However, this doesn’t mean he can’t get dragged into trouble, or even start some of his own when he’s feeling mischievous. Out of all his brothers, he tends to butt heads with Raph the most. More focused on work than dating. One of Hu Tao’s classmates.
Raphael “Raph” Hamato (TMNT 2003) -Second eldest of the Hamato brothers. Has fire magic and is skilled with two sais. A tough-talking, street smart, no-nonsense Lunaville resident, Raph is generally known for his love of being in and picking fights with people he likes to spar with. Usually a bit sarcastic and grumpy, Raph does have a soft spot for family and friends, being loyal and protective as well as being the first to take action when danger’s around. Bi. One of Hu Tao’s classmates.
Donatello “Donnie” Hamato (TMNT 2003) - Middle child of the Hamato Brothers. Has electricity magic and is skilled with a bo staff. A book smart turtle, as well as a skilled technician who has more of a tendency to think things through than his brothers. Donnie is the calmest out of all his brothers. He is gentle, very peaceful, and doesn't really lose his temper. Sometimes he can be a little witty, but his brothers generally take it as him having fun. Still, Donnie is very much as mischievous as the rest of his brothers and tends to instigate chaos from the background. One of Hu Tao’s classmates.
Michelangelo “Mikey” Hamato (TMNT 2003) - Youngest of the Hamato Brothers. Has wind magic and is skilled with nunchucks. Very much care-free, artistic and loudly extroverted, Mikey is the jokester among his brothers. He’s more immature than his brothers, often cracking jokes and puns, even during a serious situation. Because of this, they usually give him a knock to the head to get serious. Can often be found playing games whenever he has the chance. Pan. One of Hu Tao’s classmates.
Kiryu Kazama (Yakuza Series) - Head of “Like A Dragon” Security, and the main enforcer. No magic, but does have some really strong strength. A stoic, but honor-bound man who lives by a strict honor code and strong sense of justice. Shun Akiyama (Yakuza Series) - Accountant for the business, and occasional enforcer. Has no magic, but is trained in the martial arts. He’s a rather lackadaisical, yet kind person who tends to put other people’s wellbeing above his own and who’s willing to take any job brought to them if it comes from a well-intentioned place, though he has a habit of putting clients through tests to ensure they actually mean well. Despite this, he’s a bit of a slacker. Demisexual, married to Hana.
Hana Akyama (Yakuza Series) - Secretary and the general enforcer to make people in the office behave. Has super strength. Splinter Hamato (TMNT 2003) - Adopted father and teacher of the Hamato brothers. Non-magic, but is skilled in the arts of ninjutsu, which he taught to his sons. A wise, spiritual, and diligent teacher, Splinter is also a caring, loving and protective father towards his sons, but he isn’t afraid to scold or lecture them for being reckless or making serious mistakes. Is all too used to his son’s pranks and tricks, and as long as he’s watching, they can’t get away with anything…unless the victim is a jerk or someone who has rightfully earned the ire of the Hamato brothers. Then it’s fair game. Helps out at the dojo in his free time. Asexual, not interested in dating.
Tionshia “Tio” (Daily Life with A Monster Girl) - An Orge with superstrength. She works at the Security Office as, funnily enough, a security guard and also goes to Grimoire Academy. Despite her size and strength, Tio is an incredibly gentle and warmhearted person. She cares greatly about her comrades and friends, and supports them in even the slightest accomplishments. Tio is quite the fashionista, and always follows the latest fashion. She especially loves clothes with frilly and lacy things on them. Tio also has a hugging tendency, which can be quite a sight if she’s hugging one of the larger or taller members of town. Demisexual.
Zombina (Daily Life with A Monster Girl) - An undead with immense durability who works at the Security Office as a security guard and goes to Grimoire Academy. No one’s honestly quite sure where Zombina came from, she just wandered into town one day and never left. The town doesn’t mind though, as she’s a helpful member of the community who is always willing to lend a hand. Loud, self-focused and following her own wants and desires, Zombina isn’t really the type to let inhibitions hold her back. However, despite this rambunctiousness, she’s quite stealthy, and can even effectively tail someone for quite some time without being noticed. She’s a huge love of thrills, and does extreme sports with Granny Puckett, as well as having an interest in firearms and horror/thriller movies. Asexual Panromantic.
Klaus Von Reinherz (Blood Blockade Battlefront) - Member of “Like A Dragon” security, and half-vampire. Can use blood magic and owns an enchanted knuckle-duster that can transform into a shield as a family heirloom. Despite his rather…intimidating appearance, Klaus is known by everyone in Lunaville to be a gentle giant and an absolute sweetheart. Known for his gentlemanly composure, honest to a fault nature and unshakable will, he typically conducts himself in a calm, polite manner. However, if someone endangers his current charge, or anyone else in the town, Klaus has been known to show a frightening display of composed anger. He comes from a noble family descended from vampires. Demisexual.
Leonardo “Leo” Watch (Blood Blockade Battlefront) - Member of “Like A Dragon” Security, but also works part-time as a delivery boy for restaurants and goes to Grimoire Academy. Has eye magic that can let him see through the eyes of others or vice versa. Leo doesn’t necessarily work as a bodyguard, but instead as an informant for the business, gathering information for the actual bodyguards. He’s a rather typical but somewhat cowardly young man, who is very expressive with his emotions, be it surprise, annoyance or just sheer exasperation at the chaos happening around town. Leo is a kind guy, underneath the complaining, though, and he’s always happy to lend a hand. Due to being Michella’s older brother and his own protectiveness over her, he can get protective over the younger residents of town. Straight.
Zapp Renfro (Blood Blockade Battlefront) - Member of “Like A Dragon” security. Can summon a sword made out of magical energy. Zapp is…well, a crass, vulgar, hot-headed and juvenile punk who can and will pick fights with anyone who messes with him. He’s quick to be annoyed or angered, and it’s not a surprise to find him dealing with troublesome situations he got himself, and others as well, into. He’s apparently something of a ladies man, according to himself, having had several girlfriends…though they were all out of the city, so no one really believes him. Somehow, he’s good at looking after people, so he’s usually given the newbies to train. Bi, but heavily leans towards women.
Chain Sumeragi (Blood Blockade Battlefront/Blue from Wolf Rain) - Wolf Shapeshifter and member of “Like A Dragon '' Security. Can turn invisible. A rather composed, but snarky and sarcastic woman who can and will verbally ruin someone’s day if she dislikes them. She’s prone to suddenly appearing and using someone as an arm-rest, specifically Zapp. She and the man often get into fights, to the point it’s rather common to hear them arguing in the business office. She’s Ruth’s older sister, and while Chain usually trusts him to handle himself, she can be pretty protective of him. Demisexual.
Ruth Sumeragi (Ancient Magus Bride) - Chain’s younger brother, student at Grimoire Academy and a Church Grim Shapeshifter. Can turn intangible. Much like his sister, Ruth is a composed but often sarcastic and snarky young man who tends to distrust people. He’s usually fine with people in Lunaville, and even foreign students don’t get much reaction from him, but anyone else tends to be put on his watch list. Unlike his sister, who prefers to remain human, Ruth likes to be in his Church Grim form, usually acting as a “pet” when on a job. When someone sees a large black dog wandering around town, it’s usually Ruth on a stroll. He usually lets the children in town follow him around and play with him. Asexual, not interested in dating.
Steven A. Starphase (Blood Blockade Battlefront) - Member of “Like A Dragon” Security, who usually helps to advertise the business and get them jobs out of Lunaville, when not acting as an enforcer himself. Has ice magic. Steven seems to be rather laid-back as well as casual, projecting a friendly but suave air, though he always has a quip or sardonic comment about a situation. When crossed, or someone endangers Lunaville or it’s citizens, Steven displays a rather ruthless side that isn’t quite so friendly and is more than willing to ensure the incident is never repeated. Demisexual.
K.K (Blood Blockade Battlefront) - Member of “Like A Dragon” Security, who often goes outside of the city for work. Has minor lightning magic and can summon a sniper gun made out of her magic. A typically cheerful, confident and brave, K.K is known for acting like a mother to most of the younger workers at the business. She’s very protective of her friends and family, and has definitely threatened people before for their sake. She doesn’t like her co-worker, Steven, all that much and calls him “Scarface”. K.K is also known to be emotional when it comes to her family, and has a weakness for gossip, be it in shows, magazines and such, as well as soap operas. Has a husband and two sons who currently live out of Lunaville due to her husband’s job.
Zed O’Brien (Blood Blockade Battlefront) - Merman, student at Grimoire Academy and member of “Like A Dragon” Security. Can use water magic to form weapons, usually a trident. A serious, and polite but soft-spoken man who takes his work seriously. Zed is usually quiet, but easy to get along with…except for Zapp. Zed and Zapp have a strong rivalry that tends to shape how they interact usually. When he’s around Zapp, Zed is prone to being a snarky and stubborn guy who won’t back down, or won’t hesitate to use Zapp’s own flaws against him. Otherwise, he’s a nice guy. Demisexual, not interested in dating at the moment.
Zed O’Brien (Blood Blockade Battlefront) - Merman, student at Grimoire Academy and member of “Like A Dragon” Security. Can use water magic to form weapons, usually a trident. A serious, and polite but soft-spoken man who takes his work seriously. Demisexual, not interested in dating at the moment.
Gilbert F. Altsein (Blood Blockade Battlefront) - Member of “Like A Dragon '' Security, who usually handles guests once they’re allowed past the secretaries for business. Non-magic. Gilbert is an eldery man who has served Klaus’s family since the man was a young boy, and since his charge has decided to work at the security business, Gilbert followed and offered his services. He’s a kind, considerate and polite gentleman who acts as a grandfather figure to everyone. He and Splinter can be often seen drinking tea and chatting when not busy. Due to the fact that he is constantly covered in bandages, many aren't actually sure he's a human. Not interested in dating.
Dog Hummer & Deldro Brody (Blood Blockade Battlefront) - Members of “Like A Dragon” Security and an…unique “two-in-one” situation. Dog has super strength, while Deldro has blood magic that he can use to create exoskeleton armor. Dog used to be a model, while Deldro was a demon mercenary and the two were forcibly joined together in a scientific experiment by demon scientists, replacing Dog’s blood with Deldro, who now acts akin to a symbiote to Dog before they were saved by adventurers. Personality-wise, the two couldn’t be more different. Dog is a highly friendly and optimistic person, to the point of some people questioning how he stays so positive all the time. He’s usually nice, polite and carefree. Deldro, in comparison, is pessimistic, rude, and crude, with a strong habit of cursing. But the two often act as different sides of the same coin, and their personalities seem to complete each other. Both are pan, but not really interested in dating due to their situation.
