Ying nods to her response on how he's always been a troublemaker. He nods proudly and just relaxes seeing this is probably how things are like here which he doesnt mind because if he can just get paid chilling here with dead bodies and pranking people, that sounded perfect to him. Heck this could be his idea job for him, he thought if only there were professional prankster then he would be set. Ying looks back over to Hu Tao hearing her say shes glad to know his troublemaking wasn't a teenager thing and he laughs. "Nope! But I think my aunt Yu would have preferred my troublemaking antics to only have been a past thing instead of a still reacurring thing." Ying tells his boss, as he can imagine getting emails from the school about what his done isnt the bes thing.
He then looks at Hu Tao with such interest and excitement, espcially hearing how some of them are used in her pranks makes him even more interested in wanting to do pranks with her. Seeing his never had ghosts as his accomplices, he could imagine that they could get past a lot with the fact theyre dead. An his smiles kinda fades seeing her wage her finger at him and he sighs seeing shes lecturing him just a little. He kinda rolls his eyes a little at the ghosts are dangerous thing. To him the threat of angry ghost didn't scare him. It only scared him if it was like a angry ghost dog.
"Alright alright... I'll try my best not to piss the dead off... But I cant promise you I might mess up on that front in the future." Ying states as he wont lie when he gets overly curious about something, common sense decides to take a vaction and he'll most likely mess with things he clearly shouldnt mess with. He frankly is aware of this but chooses not to really fix that as he thinks it's kinda part of his charm. He now was wondering what else could he possibly do here now with Hu Tao he wonders and thinks back.
"Hey Hu Tao... Do you think the same creature that scared Yuki off a cliff and killed Tem were the same creature?" Ying asked curiously as there wasnt really much to do at this time.

"My mom's the same way." Hu Tao laughed. Ningguang was never really fond of her pranks and antics unless no one else was around, then her mother found it a big source of amusement. She's much the same with her sons, scolding them in front of others while praising them for their cunning in private. But when the boys went too far, it was always Hu Tao Ningguang called to scold, because they learned it from their sister.
"As long as you properly apologize and do your best to not ruin any graves or disturb the dead, it'll be fine." Hu Tao waved it off. Minor things she could forgive, but disturbing the dead's rest or the ground they lay in? Ying would be lucky if he ever slept without nightmares again. Her ghosts would never let him be.
But as long as he understood and made amends should he fail to keep himself in check, he'd be forgiven...depending on the spirit. If he pissed off one of the vengeful ones, Ying was up up creak without a paddle and holes in his boat.
Hu Tao hummed in thought, thinking over Ying's question. "It's pretty possible...there are some pretty dangerous things in the forest that can kill a person if they're not careful." It was often why students were warned to be careful when going outside into the forest. Not to mention the mines, who knew what hid in there?

Ying chuckles and sees how the two are very similar, though he may not see that as a problem. He could imagine how some of his friends and possibly the faculty would think of hearing his working with her. Mainly the ones who are familiar with the Morgue worker, he can imagine not a lot of pleasant reactions.
He then snaps back from his thoughts and sees she was talking about not the destroy graves and purposely disturb the dead. He felt a bit insulted she would assume he was this type of bad person, he has his limits on things. And ruining a someone’s resting place yeah his seen his far share of horror movies to know that’s how you die. Most of the time at least…
“Ha! Like I would do any of that on purpose. I mean if for some reason that does happen it’ll be a complete accident, I swear!” Ying states as he lays back and relaxes on the exam table enjoying it here.
Ying then glances over and looks to see as she was in thought and states it was possible. He could help but plan a little monster hunt a bit, it seemed so cool. The idea of tracking a monster and stopping it from hurting other people. That sounded incredible to him, though he figures he should consider the possibility of… dying. He shrugs and figures he can just use his trusty magic music to calm the savage beast. Then he looks over to Boo Tao and a thought came to him. And he takes out his trusty and favorite musical instrument, a Dizi flute. It was one of the many gifts he received from his adopted family that he loves and cares for. Ying then looks over to Hu Tao knowing before trying anything he should ask her.
“Um hey mind if I try something… I know have a little… I guess science question that I need to answer.” Ying ask as he holds up his black flute with his new white bunny chain on it that his boyfriend gave him.

Hu Tao nodded at Ying's confirmation that he wouldn't intentionally disturb the dead like that. "I figured, but ya never know what a person can be like, and I just met you today, kid." She pointed out. Her mother had practically shoved into her head from a young age that it was never wise to just take a person at their word, and that while she shouldn't be too distrusting of others, she can't hand out said trust easily, either.
Comes with the territory of being a business woman, you learn real fast how to read people. Hu Tao couldn't say the same for her father, though. He was observant and wise, as the elder people in their town used to say, but he did not have a single brain cell for money. It always made her laugh when she was growing up.
Hu Tao tiled her head in curiosity when Ying pulled out a dizi, recognizing it from her own experiences with the instrument in Liyue. Interesting, does that mean the kid had music magic or channeled it through the dizi? She shrugged at the question.
"I'm fine with it, but he not might play along with it if he doesn't want to." Hu Tao said, gesturing at Boo Tao, who floated over curiously. The diener was prepared to disummon the small ghost if need be, however. Just because Boo Tao was small and cute doesn't mean he wasn't dangerous.

He can tell that she understandably doesn't trust him. Ying would honestly be the same way before he trust someone enough to be on his pranking team, so he respects her choice in not handing her trust out so willy-nily like. "Fair enough, ya never know who the fakers or the real nice ones are." Ying states as he has met his fair share of fake nice people in his life. Frankly he genuinely hates those people, he won't lie he may have purposely gotten into fist fights with those types people just to try to teach them a lesson.
Ying then grins seeing she is cool with him using his magic in here. He was curious to see if his emotional manipulation would work on spirits as well as it seems to be working on the living. "Sweet! I definitely want to see if my magic can work on spirits like it does on the living." Ying smirks as he properly props himself up about to play his dizi when he realizes something and looks over to Hu Tao.
"Oh you might want to cover your ears. I haven't exactly learned how to control who gets effected by my magic... So just a little warning." Ying warns his new boss and then looks over to his intended target Boo Tao, and brings the Dizi up to his lips. His eyes glow red as he starts to play a little tone that sounds very sad and a bit angsty like, intended to make his target feel sad maybe a bit tearful. He normally doesn't play sad music but seeing how Boo Tao is a happy go lucky kind of ghost so to see if it actually made a difference he needed to play something that was different from what his feeling now. He hopes his magic doesn't effect his boss.

Hu Tao nodded in agreement with what Ying said. There were all types in the world, and Hu Tao found over time, she didn't care for some of them. Hence, her pranking and essentially what was ghost-enforced torment until they either got better or just left. Usually the former, but eh, fair amount of the latter.
Hu Tao was curious on what type of magic Ying had, and this was the perfect chance to see it. But upon hearing Ying say he wasn't in full control in making sure only his target got effected, she nodded in understanding, clapping her hands over her ears to muffle the sound of the dizi. If she got effected, there was no guarantee she'd be able to stop Boo Tao if she needed to.
Boo Tao bobbed in place, listening curiously as Ying played his instrument. Tilting his small head back and forth, it seemed the small ghost was more confused then anything. Though considering the spirit was already under contract with Hu Tao, perhaps spirit/ghost magic cancelled out the effects of Ying's own? But Boo Tao soon started frowning, flying forward to bat at Ying and his dizi, displeased.
Perhaps it simply took time for Ying's magic to take effect on the spirits, but Boo Tao wasn't happy about feeling his emotions being manipulated like that. He squeaked at Ying, giving an upset look at the teenager.

Ying plays his Dizi and looks as Boo Tao bobs in place for a bit. Being curious little thing Ying wasn’t surprised knowing the little ghost would have found what he was doing to be curious about. Then Ying notices that the longer he played the little ghost started to look upset. He wasn’t sure if it was the effects of his magic music playing or not. But he kept playing to continue play when he notices Boo batting at him.
He was taken back a bit seeing the ghost was trying to hit at him. He was surprised as he never had this happened before. And then when Boo Tao just squeaked at him, that caught him a bit off guard. Causing him to loose his place in the tone he was playing and fall backwards off the examination table he was on.
“Gah! Shit!” Ying swears as he falls back and lands on his back and looks up. Seeing he clearly learned and obvious lesson.
“Alright, alright, alright… Note to self only use my powers on the living… not the deceased…” Ying mutters a bit under his breath as he lays on the floor. He gets up and see the little angry cute ghost looking at him. He felt bad for making the little thing upset.
“Sorry Boo Tao. I didn't mean to make you so upset at me.” Ying tells the little ghost his apologize and and give him a sincere smile and he picks up his Dizi and froze as he sees the little white bunny charm... Was gone. His eyes widen in panic. “No no... No... NO! Where is it!? Where the hell is it!?”
Ying immediately dives back to the ground to look for the bunny charm. He hates that the floor matches the color of the bunny charm.

Hu Tao burst into laughter at seeing Ying falling off the table. "Oh, that was great!" She cackled, her breath wheezing as she tried to curb the laughter. Boo Tao wasn't scary at all, except for when he popped up out of nowhere, so it was hilarious to see Ying get so spooked by the little thing. Not to mention, any physical hits by Boo Tao should have felt like being hit with a marshmallow.
Boo Tao pouted, but moved forward to pat Ying's cheek gently, silently saying he forgave him. But he was still upset, and flew over to his summoner, who was still snickering a bit. "Oh, baby Boo, did the mean old teenager upset you?" She teased, gently pinching the soft incorporeal form of the ghost. "It was just some music, my little spook. No need to be so upset."
Boo Tao squeaked, obviously complaining at his mistress. The two looked at Ying upon hearing him curse, seeing he was frantically searching the floor for something. Hu Tao frowned. "You looking for something, Ying?" It must be important if he was so frantic.

Ying ignores how Hu Tao was laughing at what had happened as he was more focused on searching for that charm. The last thing he wants to be known for is to be the type of boyfriend who looses the gifts theyre partner has given them! He refuses to have that title or reputation, so his mind is running a million miles a minute to look for the bunny charm. His ears then pick up on how Hu Tao was asking if he was looking for something, so he looks up to her and Boo Tao nods. "Yeah... My boyfriend gave me a bunny charm as a gift during our first date of the school year." Ying explaining to the older woman on why he seems so frantic to find this charm.
He sighs he wont lie he felt so embarrassed in already loosing a gift his boyfriend gave him. He knew that he can be irresponible, forgetful, childish all the regular stuff. But he does take things that were given to him by people he cares about very seriously and with care. So he was basically mentally beating himself up for loosing it and he looks to his boss and the little ghost. "So if you two dont mind... Can you help me? PLEASE! I'm desprate!" Ying not afraid of groveling for help from her to look for this gift.
"I will not be known as the boyfriend who looses his boyfriend's gifts!" Ying determined and continues to look on the floor for the gift Zhan has given him and though a part of him knows Zhan would understand in him misplacing the gift. He was still stubborn and determined to find the gift in the morgue.

Hu Tao did remember spotting a small charm on the dizi before Ying started playing. Okay, that was kinda sweet, hearing Ying was so frantic for a small gift. Then again, it was from his boyfriend, so strong emotional attachment. Hu Tao supposed if it had been Boo Tao missing or something he had given her, she would be upset and frantic, too.
Boo Tao squeaked, floating over to Ying and curiously peering at the floor, clearly trying to help look for the charm. He might have been upset at Ying trying to manipulate his emotions through his magic, but the small ghost didn't tend to hold a grudge for long, if at all. Hu Tao did all the grudging for him.
"Alright, alright. Calm down and think. It was on your dizi until Boo there spooked you, right?" Hu Tao asked, walking over to where Ying was and looking around the area of the floor he fell down onto. It was likely around there, but it definitely didn't help that the charm and floor were pretty much the same color.
She hoped they could find it before something else happens.

Ying looks up at Hu Tao telling him to calm down as he was getting a bit too frantic as he searched for the charm. He takes a calming breath seeing he needs to calm down or he might not find it, ignoring how Boo Tao was looking on the ground for any sing of the small charm. He starts to calm down a bit after taking some calming breaths. He looks over to his boss as he not pays attention to her asking him that the charm was on the Dizi before he fell of the table.
"Yeah... Yeah it was on my dizi before I got surprisde by Boo, I wasn't spooked by him." Ying trying to deny the fact he got spooked by a cute litte ghost that is now helping him. He would deny he was ever really spooked by Boo till the day he died. But he knew right now he has to stay calm and not panic, his certain he can find it with Boo and Hu Tao's help.
"It cant have gotten far... I need to keep my cool..." Ying mutters a bit not wanting to loose his cool again and remain calm. His over thinking that he lost it forever, he somehow has lost many things and mangage to find the, eventually. He just hopes he finds this item fast.

Hu Tao rolled her eyes at Ying saying Boo Tao didn't spook him. It very clearly happened, and she wouldn't be forgetting anytime soon. Besides, makes for good blackmail if the kid got too cocky.
"Yeah, sure, bud. There's nothing for it to fall into that's open right now, I think. No grates or anything, so it should definitely still be in the room." Hu Tao explained, crouching down carefully to see if maybe a closer look at the tiles on the ground could yield a better chance for finding it. She didn't want to try walking around too much, in case she accidentally stepped on it.
Boo Tao floated around the room, hovering closely to the floor. His small, marshmallow-like face was practically dragging on it from close he was, and he did the closest version of a sneeze that a ghost could do when some dust on the floor rubbed into his face. It sounded like a cross between a squeaky toy and a kitten's sneeze. It was, frankly, too adorable to be legal.
He stopped and chirped happily upon locating something small though, calling out his mistress and the teenager as he floated to rotate in circles. "Oh, looks like Boo found something." Hu Tao said.

Ying nods seeing that it really couldn't have gone too far. So he just needs to relax a look closely for the item and ignores how Hu Tao just rolls her eyes at how he denied being spooked by Boo Tao earlier. He was overall happier just have some help in looking for the bunny charm. He also felt a wave of relief wash over him knowing that there isn't any place for it to have fallen into, so he felt good.
"Yeah, your right. I couldn't have gone far, I just need to keep focus." Ying tells himself and starts to relax and he chooses to ignore how she said I think, he needed to think positively and reassures himself he will find it before he leaves the hospital today.
Ying doesnt notice how Boo was searching the floor as well in hopes of finding the bunny charm himself. He then perks up when hearing Hu Tao tells him that Boo has found something and Ying shots up and runs over to where the little ghost was hovering over. If he was a cartoon he would have left a dust cloud in his shape behind as he heads towards the tiny ghost.
"Did you find it Boo? Did ya?! If ya did I will give you all the candy I can carry!" Ying says excitedly as he goes over to glace at the item Boo had located and squeals in joy to see it the Bunny Charm and he grabs it and attempts to hug Boo Tao in a bone-crushing bear hug.
"YES! I might be exaggerating when I say you've saved my relationship but to me... YOU'VE SAVED MY RELATIONSHIP WITH ZHAN!" Ying smiles in joy then take out his Dizi and place the charm back on it. He smiles in relief that he has the charm back and he places the Dizi back in his pocket and he felt himself relax again. And chuckles a little feeling awkward about the whole thing and honestly hopes she agrees to just forget about it.
"Sorry about that thought... I normally dont lose my cool like that so... We can pretend non of that ever happened right?..." Ying questions the older woman in hopes she doesnt hold onto this information and use it for a later date.

Boo Tao smiled and squeaked happily upon hearing Ying confirm he had found the right thing. Even though he wasn't fully solid, the small ghost did his best to return the hug. Considering he was a spirit, he didn't have to worry about broken bones! Made him great for hugging!
Not to mention candy! Lots of candy! Hu Tao, meanwhile, just started grinning mischievously at the mention of candy. "I'll handle the transfer of that particular prize." She snickered. She was just as likely to eat her share of it, but Boo Tao was always happy to share with his mistress. It'd been that way since she was a child, anything that was his was hers and vice versa.
Hu Tao smirked as Ying awkwardly asked if they could pretend the lastest set of events could be waved off as if it never happened. "Hmm...I'll think about it, kid." In Hu Tao speak, this meant "I am going to save this until the perfect moment and then blackmail/expose you then and there."

Ying was happy to get a hug back from the little ghost as finding this Bunny Charm does mean a lot to him. He also felt like he was being hugged by a Marshmallowy cloud, this felt like such a great moment he takes out his phone and takes a photo of him and Boo hugging and sent the photo in a message to his boyfriend. 'I've found a new love, and its Boo Tao! JK! His just the cutest thing here in the morgue... Aside from your's truly. ' Ying chuckles, he sometimes loves to poke fun at his boyfriend's jealously side, he found it cute in some way... So long as he doesn't attempt to murder someone. Yeah sometimes he forgets what Zhan's capable of. Ying then glances over to Hu Tao and chuckles seeing how she will personally be dealing with giving Boo Tao the candy, and he can tell she has a sweet tooth as well. "Well I'll make sure theres enough for both of you. Just as soon as I make some money..." Ying says a bit jokingly and he knew if he opened his wallet right now, a moth would fly out of it due to it being so empty of any cash. It would be comedic if it wasn't so sad... Besides he felt grateful due to the fact she and Boo helped when he lost his cool completely. He then felt a ting of annoyance seeing she was clearly going to hold onto this uncool instance that happened here, he was just annoyed he doesn't have any information on her to get back and then he felt is phone buzz and sees Zhan's responds back to his message. He laughs seeing his message from his boyfriend. 'Good, I hate those jokes. Besides if that were true it would be a shame to take out such a cute thing...' Zhan responded back and Ying laughs he figured he was joking.
