(EDIT: Warning, this thread will contain descriptions of deaths. It will not go into heavy detail, and the state of the bodies will not be described in great detail, but it is best to keep this in mind when reading.)
Cold tiles, chilly metal shelves and drawers, long tables long enough for even an especially tall humanoid shape, bright lights overhead, and the often-heard sound of mischievous snickers and cackles... This was what most employees of Lunaville Hospital would encounter upon stepping into the hospital's morgue.
Overseen by a local Pathologist, the morgue was, despite it's somber and morbid affairs, rather...chaotic, due to the antics of one particular diener. Hu Tao, a fairly recently graduated student of Arcane Magia Academy, and one of it's most renowned troublemakers.
Current menace was hunched over the local desk, scribbling away at paperwork, and sitting with crossed legs on a desk chair. Her boss had put her on the duty of paperwork, and interviewing any potential part-timers. His wife had put up "Help Wanted" posters on the local news board in town, and so they were hoping someone would at least come to check things out.
Where was her boss and his beloved spouse, one might wonder? Off on a date to the Sunshine Cafe on their lunch break, of course. Not that Hu Tao really minded, after all...he left her free of his careful eye.
Hu Tao snickered as she worked on the paperwork, her mind already thinking of all the pranks she could pull right after finishing up the last of it. "Hehehe...oh, they're all in for a big surprise."
Maybe she'll do another ghost impression in the graveyard, or do something to Law's coffee...wait, no, he might kill her for that one. Mess with the equipment? Nah, he'd kill her for that, too. Maybe just pour energy powder into the coffee? He might actually sleep for a while after it wears off, so Shirayuki and Snow couldn't be too mad at her for THAT one...right?
"Nah, I'm sure it'll be fine!" She said to herself, nodding decisively. Thus, it was decided. Law would be her latest victim.

Ying enters the hospital, he knew that his friend Val was right he needed a job he couldn't rely on his family to send him money, especially since he officially broke now and he figured he can still work with everything going on. Besides he wants to have some spending money so that way he can spoil Zhan with his own money. He looks over and sees the young woman at the front looking over some paperwork. She seemed to be deep in thought of something so he try to think of what he should do to get the job, he knew begging wasnt gonna work.
Luckily he had a copy of one of the help wanted posters from around town and he walks his way up confidently knowing his certain to talk his way into getting a job. "Hello!" Ying calls out and comes over leaning over the desk to the woman on the other side. He notices that she was looking at some boring paper work, he was hoping he didnt have to look at boring paperwork like that if he got the job, his also hoping he can borrow a rubber cadaber from here so he can place in in certian places to scare people... for fun.
Ying clears his throat and smiles, "I'm here for the job at the morgue!" Ying smiles as he takes out one of the copies of the help wanted posters from his back pockets as it was very crimpled and a little torned up. As if to show proof he came her for this job particularly.

Coming out of her thoughts at the sound of someone clearing their throat, looking up at a young man that instantly caught her eye. Punkish-looking clothing, long hair, and a mischievous grin and glint in his eyes... Hu Tao felt a wide smirk spread across her face. She knew a fellow prankster when she saw one.
And he was here for a job at the morgue, too? Perfect! Hu Tao might finally have someone else to pull pranks with!
"Hey there. Guessing you saw the ad on the board in town?" The young woman asked, snatching the paper from his hands to look it over. Despite the crumbling and torn parts, it was still readable. Not too bad. She might be able to reuse it if need be.
Well, back to the potential hell-raiser. Hu Tao looked at him and grinned, getting up and leaving behind the dreaded paperwork...for now. "Come on, follow me, I'm gonna show you where we work. Some people get spooked out when they see what we're actually working with, and run off. Wanna make sure you're not one of them."
She gestured for the kid to follow her, walking off towards the morgue. "Oh, by the way, what's your name?"
As expected of Hu Tao, she often switched gears quickly. Usually, one would ask for a potential employee's name first then lead them to the area they'd be working at, but she never was one for the rules.

Ying smiles seeing she is definitly interested in having him work here, and seeing how he can tell she also a fellow agent of chaos. They should get along very well. He then realizes she asked him a question on if he saw the ad on the town board, which he did see but ignore it at first. Till Val basically shoved the idea in his face when he offically ran out of money. "Sorta, my friend basically shove it in my face. An I figured it be a good place for me to work." Ying explains to how he came across the idea of getting the job here as well.
Ying then sees she starts to get up and lead him to where the morgue part of the hospital. Informing that she wants to make sure he doesnt get spooked by dead bodies and run off, Ying tries to picture the type of people he knows would run off due to seeing something creepy. He figures Val or Zhan wouldnt really run off or anything. But he could picture Laby having two reactions, either she thinks the person is asleep or she run screaming. Either way if he got the job he wouldnt dare bring Laby down here. So he follows her down and shoves his hands in his pockets just chilling as he follows her.
He then hears her ask for his name and realized he never introduced himself, he chuckles a bit, "Oh right, I'm Ying Wei. An don't worry, I dont really scare that easily." Ying smiles a bit and was pretty convindent in himself that he can handle whatever to see what gonna be down in the morgue.

Hu Tao snickered. "Oh, it's fun, all right. As long as you don't mess around with the actual bodies, you should be fine. The other stuff? Pretty much free reign if you don't get caught by anybody."
Last time she brought someone down, it was Law, and she couldn't really get a reaction out of him due to his obvious profession, and the fact that he was so sleep-deprived that he was pretty much a zombie that day. Shirayuki and Snow really worried about him on those days, so Hu Tao took it upon herself to knock the guy out and let him have a little nap. Can't understand why she got yelled at for doing a good thing, though.
Maybe she shouldn't have slipped those sleeping pills in his coffee? But Law himself wasn't angry or anything, just annoyed she messed with the coffee. So it was fine!
"We'll see about that. And you can call me Hu Tao!" She snickered, pushing open the double-doors into a hallway that led to the morgue. There was always something that scared a person.

"Free reign huh?... I like the sound of that." Ying smirks at that thinking of all sorts of things he would definitly get away, espically if he gets the job here. He is already planning so many things, he wonders how many fake blood pranks he can get away with here before it gets old. He figures maybe 4 or 5 fives would be enough, and then he can work on other stuff as well. Like other pranks and maybe he can get some, creative critism from Hu.
He then sees her open up the double doors to the morgue, he regrets not bringing a jacket due to it being a bit cold. Ying figures that its cold in the morgue due to well... the dead bodies, the last thing anything wants is to be in a room full os smelly warm rotten corpses. He shudders at that thought of seeing a barely recognized person on one of those many metal tables, bbut other then that he wasnt really distrubbed from what he saw. He looks over to the wall where all the dead bodies are kept.
"Aside from the cold, not that creepy here." Ying looks around and smiles and leans against one of the tables in there room and looks around in the low light room. He starts to think this could be a very cool job, and he glances to Hu and chuckles, "However if there is any zombies that your secretly keeping here... I'd like to borrow one." Ying jokes a little as he figures there arent actual zombies in here but it would be really cool if there were. It would be like being in a real life video game.

"Oh, but if you get caught, you're on your own. I ain't getting in trouble for something I didn't do." Hu Tao bluntly stated, heading over to a cart of tools used for autopsies and pushing it over to the wall, just so the kid didn't get any ideas.
Fortunately for the kid, they hadn't done any actual work yet, so there weren't any bodies...or, well, uncovered bodies on the tables. Some autopsies were going to be performed today, but that was later in the evening. Besides, the boss needed to be present for them.
She saw the kid lean on one of the tables, luckily an empty one, and look towards the wall, joking about zombies. A dark look appeared in her eyes at the thought.
"Oh, no, if there were any zombies, they'd be ash by now." She muttered. Necromancy and other magics that revived the dead weren't something she took lightly, considering her own background as the heiress to a funeral home. If they genuinely asked for it, through the caster communicating to the ghost or prior consent given before death, she had no real problem with it.
But if it was unwilling? Someone was getting 4th-degree burns and some serious haunting done to them.

Ying chuckles a little a how she stated if he was caught with any prank his on his own. Which he wont lie that was fair as he can't really blame her for anything he does, as he knew that was well unfair and selfish of him. An he was many thing, umbarrable, loud, a bit obnoxious, energetic. But selfish the only thing he hates to share his spicy food... And Zhan during dates. Though Ying glances back at his potential employer and sees the dark look in her eye, he was taken aback by that as he didnt think of his joke on zombies would be such a touchy subject.
"Ah... Right... got that.." Ying a bit nervous seeing she was a bit intense on that and looks around and was curious then turns to look to her. An figures to maybe ask some more questions on the job to try and get the topic off zombies or anything to do with the dead coming back. He thought for a moment on what to ask her and got one.
"Ok so my boss-to-be what exactly will I be helping you with?" Ying was a bit curious wanting to know what he will be doing here in the morgue aside from moving dead bodies around and such. He wonders what else he'll be doing aside from pulling pranks, but he doubts he can actually get paid for just hanging here and pulling pranks.

Hu Tao shook herself out of her thoughts at the kid's question, smirking. "Nah, I'm not gonna be your boss. If anything, think of me like a senior schoolmate. I'm higher up then you, but not by much. Our real boss is out on lunch right now with his lady, so it's just us for now."
"As for what you'll be doing...you'll be a diener, like me. Diener's are pretty much morgue assistants, we move, handle and clean the bodies, label them, sometimes help with the autopsies, and even do some autopsies ourselves. So this job isn't the best for queasy people." Hu Tao explained.
"Also, be prepared to see a lot of weird crap at this job. You would not BELIEVE the things we find in a body sometimes." The diener rambled on, as she looked over what was currently available for her to use to gauge how Ying would do.

Ying was glad to hear that their actual boss is currently out so at least till then he can relax a bit. He was also interested in seeing what he'll get to be doing and he smiles a little seeing this job is a lot more interesting than he originally thought. Heck, this could interest him in actually want to go into this as a full-time career after he graduates from school. He knows he wasn't really a queasy person, he could stomach some gross things. Ying loves his blood and gore content in his horror movies, so he's pretty sure he can handle and gross things that exist in a real corpse.
"Eh... Can't be weirder than what I find in my backpack." Ying smirks and starts thinking that now Val won't be the only one with cool work stories. He was pretty excited to tell all his friends about his new job, though he would have to keep certain details from Zhan. His boyfriend maybe very stotic but he was a clean freak and didn't have much interest in gross things. So he figures he'll just keep any gross out queasy stories to himself, seeing no one would really want hear those stories. Now his curious nature is getting the better of him.
"So what kinda hours would I work exactly? I sorta have a... kinda late night gig at the bar this month... Long story." Ying asked because he knew both Mira, Yu and Shizuo would kill him then bring him back to life only to kill him again if he flacked on his cleanning up duties there. He doesnt need to face Mira's wrath again.

"Trust me, a prankster's backpack? Ain't gonna hold a candle to what you might find in a body." Hu Tao half-joked, finally finding some good old empty labels. Just the other day, on one of her day's off, the boss had done some autopsies he hadn't gotten around to labelling, and he asked her to do them today, so she could do them for an example to show the kid...after making sure he wasn't running off and had done the necessary paperwork, of course.
She actually something like a rubber DUCK in some poor anthro's body. Either it was a particularly cruel death, or there was some of kind accident in their life that happened there, but it had certainly made her day when during the middle of an autopsy, there was this loud squeak. The look on her boss's face had her laughing for hours. Said rubber duck was properly deposed of, of course.
"Well, honestly, it would be up to you, kid. Since school's in session, we can't really have you during the day, so we just have to you on the weekends in the morning to afternoon or something." She shrugged, waving Ying over as she gathered the labels and headed over a table that had the paperwork she needed to properly label each body correctly. "Alrighty, over here, you're gonna watch me label some bodies, and if you're still feeling you want the job, you'll sign some papers after."

Ying was curious seeing that there are quite some odd things that could be found in dead bodies. He can only imagine what Hu would have seen in her time working here, but that honestly didn't bother him. Ying sees she was about to do some labeling and comes over to her side. He was curious what they were going to be labeling, aside from just dead bodies. He then realizes she was still talking to him and snaps back from his train of slightly morbid thoughts and looks over to her. Seeing that she was explaining he can work mainly weeks on the mornings to afternoons sounds almost too good to be true. Heck, it seemed perfect to him.
Ying smiles a bit at hearing that the days he works could be totally up to him. "That sounds perfect! I can definitely work with that." Ying states as he gives an excited grin on his face and sees her take over labels and paperwork. He knew he shouldn't be that surprised seeing he'd have to sign paperwork once he does decide if he wants the job and he nods.
"Alright, that sounds about fair... So... Can I possibly ask... What would my pay be like?" Ying smirks a little nervously finally asking about the pay here. Though he honestly is excited to work with this fellow trickster, he won't lie this was kinda curious of about what he'll be making. Once he knew then he felt like he can plan to buy his boyfriend Zhan a proper birthday gift along with buying new pranking supplies.

Hu Tao muttered to herself as she sorted through the labels, making sure she had the right amount to label the right bodies. Then she grabbed the paperwork detailing what bodies exactly she was labeling today. Mostly human, one or two anthros... Boring!
The boss couldn't have given her more interesting ones to work with? She'd do her job properly, of course, but come on, she needed some excitement now and then! Snapping out of her thoughts to hear Ying agree to coming in on morning-afternoons on the weekends, she looked over at the kid. "That's good, because I think we literally have no other choice if you wanna work here."
"Besides, you do realize that means you have to get up early some days, right?" Hu Tao asked, raising an eyebrow. Just from looking at Ying, she could tell the kid wasn't a morning person. Took one to know one, after all. Or at least, she wasn't one during her school years. Hu Tao had gotten used to getting up early pretty quick when she got her job.
Finally finishing rummaging around in the paperwork, Hu Tao grabbed what they needed and started walking over to the wall fridge doors, the sound of her sneakers echoing around the room of the morgue. Stopping in front of the first door, she looked back at Ying at hearing his question of how much they get paid.
"Oh, we start around 15-16, then work up to 19 bucks an hour, I think?" Hu Tao said, thinking to herself before shrugging. "We get paid well, but you'll probably get the lower-end of the payroll, since you're gonna just be part-time and only on the weekends."

Ying groans a bit seeing he has to wake up early. One of the many things he and his boyfriend are different from is their sleep habits. He likes to stay up late like till 1 am and waking up at 9. Ying thinks to himself that he needs the money, he needs the money. Ying repeatedly thinks to himself as he wants to use the money for himself and his boyfriend and friends.
“Yeah... But it's not too early right...” Ying ask as he follows Hu to the wall of the fridge. He figures he can survive some early shifts. He just hopes it's not like 4 in the morning. That's unreasonable.
Then he hears that amount he’ll be paid and the he will be paid most likely less the others. Though he was cool with that so long as he can get paid for working then getting nothing. It worked for him.
“Oh that works for me. I seriously need the money... Seeing I only have like 30 cents to my name.” Ying kinda jokes a little but was stating a legit fact that his broke. Then looks back at the wall of fridges and follows Hu to it. Seeing he will be seeing dead bodies now. A part of him wasn't really excited for it, but he figures he can stomach it. Especially for the money.

"Depends. 6-to-7 is when we usually open up, though the hospital and the morgue itself are open all night." Hu Tao said, looking over the labels on the fridge doors to make sure she was getting the right bodies.
"Okay...that's this one, and this is that one..." She muttered to herself, taking a marker and writing on some sticky notes then slapping specific ones on certain doors, labeling them both so she wouldn't forget which one to grab and where to return them.
"Money is money, especially if you're a broke student. Can't be too picky." Hu Tao bluntly said, plopping her things in a nearby office chair, but removing a set of keys from the pile, unlocking one of the fridge doors she labeled earlier. She then pulled on the handle connected to the inner table inside, pulling out the sheeted body.
"Alrighty, this one is...Yuki Hoshikawa. Student visiting for a summer school trip. Poor thing, fell off a cliff." Hu Tao said, writing the details of the girl's name, age and date of birth, cause of death and where her body was found on the label before wrapping it around the body's toe.
