Bio:
Ancient years had passed as from a distant land live in tranquility with nothing to be feared nor be greed to obtain by forced hands; there was an old magician who spent great time of his life teaching new students from the royal court that was far away from the land but which has a treaty alliance with.
The old magician had spent his time alone reading and making scrolls for future masters who shall knock his door seeking his knowledge he once taught.
It was in one of these days, the magician was visited by a strange man. A robbed man with a strange symbol hanging like a collar around the neck, the stranger revealed no name nor age. Just asked for a favor.
The old magician didn't refused in the stranger's petition. He wanted to do something this old magician knows better than no one. He asked in give life at a scarecrow from the fields the strangers owns. Fields that got raided by crows recently but h didn't want him to scare them away but as a pupil. Turn the inanimated humanoid of hay and silk into a living golem-like.
The magician had his doubts. He can make any object turn into live...yet, a soul is required to make the process. It is not light magic but dark instead.
Yet, the magician didn't refused.
Once arrived at the farm of the stranger, the scarecrow was there. Dirty, filled with earth and destroyed by the birds' pecks and scratches. A lone defeated warrior at the center of an empty field with no crop to guard against the ravenous feathered ones. The stranges approached with the magician. The old one picked off a scroll which he chant the spell over the scarecrow. Lights and thunders strike the land.
The ancient magician coughed in elder age. The stranger just observed.
The stranger untied the scarecrow from where he was moments before. And his button eyes turned more human like with a bright of life. It took a few attempts before the hay-golem like could stand over its weak legs. It looked at the men in front of him; looking a young one receive some scrolls and books from an elder one who departed at the north road...last time the scarecrow would know about him. After this, the young magician stranger taught him as the pupil he wanted. He showed at him the difference about energy and magic; the different ways to create portals, items and other charms, powers based on earth and wind...and a great number of magic etc.
Time passed and the Scarecrow's magic brain started to comprehend the arcane energies and magic. But as more he learned, the teacher turned more opaque and dormant; until one day he didn't wake up. The scarecrow didn't comprehend it in time, yet the stranger had given his soul to give at his pupil life...and each time it remained at his side, the soul abandoned the old-young human body to be with the scarecrow.
Time passed once more and technology hit the roads of the ancient lands. Rumors said about an academy where people and creatures can go to learn about magic and other subjects. The scarecrow has spent much time enhancing his own body, wearing the clothes of his ancient owner-master and the staff it carried once. He departed the once homelands to go at Lunaville, leaving everything behind, even the house of his master; he expected to find something where he was going. He knows magic but he wanted to learn more about the world of magic from the vestiges and ruins left behind but shown publicly.
Perhaps, if there’s a museum or an art gallery, he would be pleased to work there. He just smiled as look the road ahead as his new future.
