Teacher: Alastor
Time Frame: Late Morning. 10 AM - 11 AM. Mondays and Wednesdays.
Information: This class helps magic and non-magic users improve their ability to interact with each other as well as participate and evaluate the communication process. From its history and its impact today to its use in small groups and media, students will learn how to practice and evaluate communication and the relationships it forms. For those who have hypnosis or are interested in learning about it, lessons on how to use and defend against hypnotic abilities will also be taught.

Assignments and Projects:
- Usually topics will be introduced on Mondays while assignments will be assigned on Wednesdays and due before class on Mondays. Depending on the topics and any tests coming nearby, it will change accordingly.
- Although not every single aspect of communication may not be covered, each topic will have an equal amount of teaching time as well as hitting with the major points.
- Students are encouraged to share their experiences with communication whether it would be a small group interaction or a scenario about the subject.
- Tests will be made for each topic.
- Occasionally, students will learn and practice how to write timed speeches and essays.
- Final Exam/Projects includes:
- Persuasive essay (Students will write, edit, and review their persuasive essay on any topic of their choosing.
- Classroom debate (Entire class does a debate on a topic selected by the class itself, putting their public speaking skills to the test)
- Hypnosis/Persuasion (Students have a one-on-one conversation with Alastor, having the goal of persuading Alastor while trying to avoid getting hypnotized him. Grade will be based on performance, skill, and improvement.
- For extra credit or to learn more about a more specific method of communication, students are encouraged to participate in the Arcane Magia Radio Show where they will learn about the radio and what goes into making a radio show.
